It's bad enough when a stranger rips you off, but this lowlife sounds like he was a longtime customer.  I'd blanket my booth with surveillance cameras and catch him in the act.  Make sure you don't accuse him of anything without proof.

9.8 -  i went 9.0 since there looks to be multiple spine ticks and they top edge rub

3.5 - i went 3.0 but was debating 3.5

9.2 - I went 8.0 since the dark spine ticks had it down to 9.0 and I thought there was a crease or tear bottom front corner

5.5 - I went 6.5 but was debating 6.0.  Just looked like a standard 6.0 copy but I thought it was a tad nicer then some I see

6.5 (I should have known better on this one and not gone higher than 6.0, which was my original grade but I changed it at the last minute sigh)

 

I feel better after seeing this! I had:

9.0 = multiple spine ticks and what is up with that top right front cover?

2.0 = Beautiful red cover, showed all the flaws and missing pieces .

8.0 = spine ticks, etc.

4.0  - I can't go higher with that staining and schmutz on the back cover

If I had added 1 point to each of my guesses, I would have had a lovely score. 

I undergraded every book.

My first transaction with Hector, bought an Archie #49 and Betty & Veronica #2. The books arrived quickly and were expertly packaged. 

Highly recommended. 

Schmutz: bad.

Water stains : very bad

Detached piece of ASM in bag : 9.4

That Giant-Size Conan was graded higher than the 2001. Unbelievable.

Smart move. I don't know why more sellers don't list a few "buy it nows" when these discounts appear.  I did an Ebay search for "spider-man ebay 15" yesterday and it yielded 3 results.  The seller actually put it in the item title. That may not seem like a good idea to the Ebay buyers who didn't get the discount, though.

Break it to me gently. 

Picked up some silver age bags and boards, some router bits and Archie's Festival by Spire Christian comics.  Paypal didn't like me paying with my phone and asked me to change my password. Almost made me miss the deadline.

That didn't show up in my email, only in the ebay app.  Only lasts until 7pm Pacific time today. I'll check it out when I get home from work!

Had a great time at the show today. I didn't know @catrick339 was there, so sorry I didn't know to look for him.  Picked up a few nice books, and met some great artists, writers and collectors!

Also met Craig Boldman, Archie writer who did a neat B&V sketch for me. One of the nicest guys I've ever met, too.

And Gerry Conway, who is also much nicer than I imagined he'd be.

 He killed Gwen Stacy.

Well, I heard Stan say in an interview that "after I'm gone, I don't care" (or words to that effect).  I'm sure he doesn't care about earthly things now, but that tweet bothers me.

What's next? A CGI Stan in a cameo in the new movies?
