  1. Ugh, someone proudly showing off a PGX on a CGC board. Ha.
  2. Not sure why I was quoted or even more can't quite understand the point of you listing your entire autograph inventory on this comic message board.
  3. Living in Rochester, the "original" Nic Tahou Garbage Plate will always be the only one (no Rubbage Plates or Trash Can Plates knock offs) and have enjoyed many at the closed location (people around there were just getting shot) and it has to be potato home fries, cold elbow macaroni, cheeseburgers, onions and hot sauce and tiny bread and butter. No double anything! Great books. Just reading this, missed out on a few books. :(
  4. People are getting charged after they cancelled this signing? I have to check to see if they cashed my check. I am growing frustrated with CGC for many reasons.
  5. It's safe to say these three were at the event and signed there. Nobody would carry this around for years in hopes of getting these signers who had nothing to do with the event they had nothing to do with. Just common sense. Also signed in same pen. I have run into celebrities at airports and searched for anything on hand to get a signature. Here is a link to the slabbed item: https://www.psacard.com/cert/63969449
  6. Momoko was scheduled to do a signing with CGC according to an interview I saw on youtube (I believe it was on Very Gary's channel) about a year ago...but Covid.
  7. He reached out to me and I responded with a more detailed appraisal of the item. In a matter of several days, he got the item "graded" and added to population which I am unsure what population this could be added to. Not to mention while I think he thinks it is worth far more, it will cost him $100 just to authenticate those three and add on top of that, encapsulation and misc. fees. With how backed up they are, I am unsure what to make of any of this now and an updated scan and/or link would be helpful.
  8. The issue here is that it is one item from one consignor where they may make forty-fifty bucks at the end of the day and it may not be worth their time. Goldin is bigger than CS and doubtful you'll get a response there.
  9. Contact Steve Verkman (CSauctions.com) and see what he says. Clean Sweep is a good auction house for something like this. Value, my guess? A few hundred.
  10. I used them once and it was a very good experience and would use them again.
  11. Star Wars actors (McDiarmid, Billy Dee Williams...) Arthur Adams with remark options. Still Joe Giella... Adi Granov, also with remark options.
  12. I am unsure what is gained by negative comments or personal thoughts about collecting. If this isn't for you, keep quiet and venture into other portions of the message board that is more to your liking. I for one love getting books signed by celebrities and love seeing how my fellow board members collect.
  13. Mike has done A LOT of signings. When I traveled to sports card conventions many years ago, seemed every show I went to he was signing. He usually does a small residency of signings at the Tri-Star store in Las Vegas (he lives near by) where he will appear for a full week. He seems to always do the National Sports Convention. He is usually about $120-130 per signature. I have seen two CGC Yellow witnessed comic book by Tyson and I am indeed jealous
  14. Okay, now I want stories in regards to Sara Connor and Lois Lane.
  15. I was thinking same thing and was underbidder on the Enders Shadow one. Congratulations on these great books!
  16. The beauty of comics and especially signed comics, we all have different preferences and opinions and you should collect what you like. I love signed celebrity comics and that's me. I agree with above. I will not collect signatures of anyone who is lazy about signing and gives out unappealing or shortened signatures. My favorite artist is Adam Hughes and have no interest in his "AH!" signature and that goes double for Howard Chaykin and his lazy "H" signature. C'mon Howard! That goes for celebrities who only sign their first name. Ugh.
  17. Sure Stan Lee has signed a million autographs (like Mickey Mantle) two million want his signature and his signature was even more in demand after his passing and prices increased. People who don't know comics knew Stan Lee and he appeared in the Marvel flicks. Nobody outside of die hard comic fans know who Michael Turner is and his signed books sell for a fraction. Saw a guy at a show last month sell them raw for twenty bucks. Same could be said of Dave Stevens. Bill Finger signatures are a grail, not Kane.
