  1. Hey C how ya been? Ah bummer. You have been outbid on this item, some of the saddest words ever put in print. Seriously I wish you had gotten it. Nice 3.
  2. Hey, for some reason I can't load that site. I read it here https://comicbookplus.com/?cid=1088 Probably just a cool idea for a cover that L.B. thought up. Puppets on a string.
  3. So what's the symbolism on Suspense 7? On a lot of his stuff the theme is greed, temptation or time to pay the piper for you gluttonous, debaucherous ways type stuff. Here we have Mr. Nobody operating three marionettes, a killer, a hot blonde perhaps in a ballerina suit running from the killer, and a skeleton playing a violin. Any thoughts? Not my book of course.
  4. Me too, in that order basically. Great looking Detective 13. Wow.
  5. I saw that. Hard to have faith when you see stuff like this. No offense intended to cgc but more than ever I am looking at the book more than the grade these days.
  6. I would just forget about e bay. They are going to do what they wan't no matter what. And the governments are going to take everything they can no matter what. All the tax on internet sales now has got to be an astroniminal amount of money. But they gotta pay the central bankers back the interest for the trillions in dollars loaned to them to finance the corona virus spending. That money had to come from somewhere, now the debt is due. After all they have nukes. Sorry to say but the only way to avoid it is don't do business with them.
  7. Me too. 165 of them. It's a really good one. Amazing Man.......are some of the books offered. And I can see about 80% of the pics now.
  8. I'm sure there is a very good reason, but the Suspense is killing me.
  9. Oh I didn't know this was you. At least who I now think you are. Yeah those lists he makes are real neat.
  10. Thanks for this. I looked all over for the article but couldn't find it, even on the HA site. Did he make these kind of lists for other publishers also?
  11. Hey , Well one of the books I'm watching showed up today so that's a step forward. I called them a few days ago to ask them about a book I'm interested in but the scan that was up looked different from the last time they sold the same book, and she spoke to the scanning dept and said they are taking care of business and working overtime.
  12. Sold Out One more book for sale- Fantastic Four 45 CGC 7.5 White Pages. Holder is pefect. Real nice 7.5 I think. 550.00 Check or Money Order. No Paypal. Same rules above apply.
  13. Thanks! The 2nd picture came out a little too bright but the 1st pic and the close up are pretty accurate.
  14. Thank you Mike you're awesome. Mystery solved.
  15. To be honest I looked it up after Mr. B's post, wanted to be sure I understood the joke. I would have spelled it with 2 R's also.
  16. Hi Paul, anybody know what the deal with this really is? I'm talking glue. I've seen many books that say something like "Small amount of glue........" , some are Blue Label, some Purple. There is a Dynamic Comics 11 Purple on e bay right now that is a good example. It's a "policy" of CGC I never understood. To me it shouldn't be considered resto or at least enough to warrant a purple label. Tape doesn't, why should glue?
  17. Well it is a tough word to spell. Only off by one R.
  18. Oh yeah. I always thought it was a mobster. Then I thought it was a badge. Alright thanks for straightening me out.
  19. Dynamic 12 is a great cover. It's two cops playing the game right? I used to think rather portly fellow was a gangster but I think that's a badge on his coat. I like covers that have symbolic themes to them. Trippy would be another way to describe them. Like how the captured pieces are clearly deceased. Other Chesler books like that are Dynamic 11, 19. Punch 9 and 12 and I'm sure a few others.

  21. I think we all dislike those speculator type only in it for the money people as much as you. But it is nice when you know the books you bought in the past could now be sold for more than you got them for even if you have no intention of ever selling any of them.
  22. Yeah that would be good. I only noticed because I was going to try to grab it. I did write to Goldin but got kind of a generic response saying the book represents 1/12 of the census but they'll look into it further. Now I'm just curious why it's not showing up. # 4356456013
