  1. Screw you hippie! Tree hugger! (ps - take a look in the Comics General HAVE A CIGAR for some of your books! )
  2. Belated kudos to POV, drbanner, shiverbones, and even you...ninanina! Lame. SO lame! No - Greggy Lame! That is like lamer than lame!
  3. Just got a surprise package from Canada Post.1 Sweet sweet BA DC Horrors from Greggy. Mostly 20 cent titles like HOS, HOM, Phantom Stranger and some others as well. Am amazing intro for me to DC BA Horror. And average is VF anyway. A few a might better I'd say (as I am starting to leard the BA grading concepts.) Oh yeah - and the famous Greggy Packaging!
  4. The little green fellow talking into the ear looks like an Incredible Hulk "mini-me"!!!!
  5. That girl doesn't rhyme with lust.......she is an anagram of lust. Sult? No no no ..........Tuls!!!!!!!! It is obviously Ults as "She is the Ults!"
  6. Actually, I cannot! Wet cleaning varies and is dependent on the type of stains to be rid of. Distilled water is the reagent for a plain old general wet cleaning - but not a submersion but a float. However, any aqueous wash will impact the paper and the fibres. :-(
  7. If you go back to look at the chapter, you'll see that you are now officially a part of Crisis. Whoo-hoo!!! Thanks Joanna! I am now officially eeeeevvvvviiilllllll. Yes, not just Evil - but Eeevvillll the way Darth Vader turned to Eeevvvviiillll!
  8. What? "Joanna" is also Chuck Rozanski? Why am I always the last to know? It was so obvious - no two people could be so skilled in the writing of fantasy fiction without being one in the same!
  9. I can't like more than one person? Fine. I've stopped liking now. No more liking. It just causes heartache and pain. Of course, this means Rerun gets no support from me (and he's going through a traumatic TV-free time right now) but I'm through with liking. From now on, I'm modeling my posting style after hammer. I will simply offer large sums of money for the joy of removing eyeballs and such. And then I will restore said eyeballs with a quick trim and color touch -- don't it make your brown eyes blue? -- Joanna P.S. Pov, I still like you. P.P.S. D'oh! Rats - I have erred...I MEANT to say "Fickle, thy name is woman." Rookie! Rats again! And I studied Khaos' style SO closely, too, I hope Joanna realizes the highjacking will continue until the next installment appears. Hungry for installments we are!

  11. That's it?? That's it ? Mega-bag and all I get is THAT?!?!?!? I don't know why I try for you people sometimes! >sob! choke!< ::sigh:: I feared the subtlty wouldbe lost on you. Khaos, thy name is obtuse.
  12. That's it?? That's it ? Mega-bag and all I get is THAT?!?!?!? I don't know why I try for you people sometimes! >sob! choke!< I like you. Woman, thy name is fickle.
  13. How's that hip replacement? I mean, obviously you're still not hip, but when can we expect your replacement? I'd reply to you but I am just too hip! PS - Look forward to the next installment, Joanna!
  14. I'll see if I can write a chapter tonight. Got a lot on my plate today, but I might have time later. Do what you can without straining yourself...and keep in mind the old adage "Always leave them wanting more."
  15. It was great Joanna - been waiting for the Action 1 to show up! Go the long route. To paraphrase George Hamilton as Dracula, "With Crisis...always a longie....never a quickie."
  16. I've been lurking in these boards for a few months now, and I've seen this thread a few times. Hey Hensen! After you acquire the Adventures Into The Unknown #1, what will you putting under Most Wanted Collectible?
  17. Sooo... anyone in the mood for some Crisis? Oh gawd, you mean we have to start READING this stuff again? BACK Evil POV BACK ::thwack thwack thwack::
  18. Ara - that Lucky 7 is definitely one for the Wall Of Weird! A most intriquing thing!
  19. Very nice looking book! Great example of just how nice the "lower grade" books can be.
  20. Well, Hooded menace is not on my pre-code horror checklist, but am familiar and would probably cross-genres and buy one - yet I honestly don't recall seeing one in well over 8 years of cons. Mighty nice find there. As far as Metro - well they have three Cap America 75's but just too pricey, in my opinion, for the grades. They did send me good, large scans of all of them. Had a really fun and extended chat about pre-code horror with one of the folks there too. Not dissing them - just guarding my wallet!
  21. Consider me considerate! I always have...and now...back to Crisis posts!
  22. Well, nobody's perfect! hmmm...you can be obtuse in your obtuseness I like to keep you on your fragile, creaky, arthritic toes! Danged pup! And lettuce not hijack too much Joanna's fine effort? Agreed?
