  1. Could be an AI posting. Only question is Artificial Intelligence or Actual Ignorance. Looks like SOMEONE is sitting in the Bleak Seat!
  2. The ability to know that any super-power I could imagine will have consequences far beyond the initial timeline. Thankfully I already know this and am far happier for it.
  3. I agree with printer defect. Especially if you look to the left of that color spot and you will see the same color bleeding around the middle part of the E. Looks like a mix of primarily cyan and magenta printer's inks.
  4. Quite right. A single defect may be allowed in a certain grade, thus not reducing that grade. But it all depends on the overall grade of the book without the defect. In a high grade book the rust would certainly be more of a factor than in a low grade book.
  5. I agree if one personally sends them to CGC, but since these were sent out for pressing and submitting to CGC, photos on my part would be less useful. Should I decide to submit in the future I will have them returned to me so I can image them, image the packaging and be one step closer in the submission chain. This is NOT a slam on Joey. I absolutely hold him in high esteem.
  6. Seriously? "A lack of connection" with the "physicality of the item they are selling"? PLEASE tell me you're jesting. As would I.
  7. $5 or $5000 should make no difference. If the seller packages in such a way that it invites damage, and damage occurs. that seller has to be responsible and pay the return shipping. Anything else is, in my opinion, PL worthy.
  8. Just an FYI I received these this evening via UPS and the books are much nicer than I was expecting BUT the PAGE QUALITY is amazing. Folks who have known me a long time here know that PQ is an important thing for me and these did not disappoint! Nice staples as well!
  9. Thanks KCO!A human of their word!!! I already have two copies of this one (you can see one on my Insta page) but $70 is an excellent price so if someone wants it don't hesitate!!!
  10. Tubi is fast becoming a favorite streaming service. Ridiculously infrequent/brief commercials and an ever expanding lineup. No cost and just by creating a profile (email/pw) you can browse and save to your favorites list. I'd call it the "poor viewers Netflix" but it is really gaining respectability in its own right. Just as an aside I have chugged all of my streaming (Hulu/Dis, Max, Netflix etc) down to "with ads". The ads on these platforms are SO much more infrequent that you see on cable or broadcast. Just enough time to get a bev/ snack or tend to ::ahem:: used bev/snacks!
