I used to go on press runs in the 70s/80s to okay register and color. The comic has four colors (yellow, magenta (pinkish red color), cyan (bluish) and black (in the printing world black is abbreviated as "k"). Thus Cyan yellow magenta black would be termed CYMK. Each color is printed on the paper one color at a time. On a typical 4-color press the paper goes through once and is printed by each color plate in succession. The register is simply the accurate lineup of each plate on the paper so each color lies on top of the previous one. Outside of the finished area (usually) you will see a crosshair on each color plate. This greatly assists in assessing the plate positioning to get the proper alignment. I would say something like "Move the yellow plate to the right" etc. The press operator would know these as well but representing the customer I had to voice my opinion.
If the colors do not all line up it is referred to as "out of register" or "off register". Below is a perfect example of how a badly out of register image looks. Once all the colors are put in alignment it will become a perfectly black crosshair.

Streaming shows are completely filmed for months once they start airing. They may be able to do some editing once it starts showing if it is on a weekly release schedule, but that is all.
Thanks! Yeah, I just did a search and filming wrapped earlier this year.

Just rewatched it on Netflix and, while I enjoyed it the first time around I enjoyed it even more on the 2nd viewing. The Morbius makeup definitely put me in mind of ASM but I felt his origin was much better done and made more sense as written in the film than in ASM 102 itself, which is a bit of a mess. For me the film is eminently watchable.

Again the episode was OK but the fun/glitz is not where it was. As far as Madisynn goes, have to wonder how far ahead they've filmed and if they are still writing with the awareness of the impact she's made.

why is that four lines on a three line label notation? akaSteve - you have the book in hand...what are the notations?

What are the notations on the right side of the label (3lines). Can't make them out.

I will say it again. CGC is not what it used to be. They mucked up several of my books big time but THIS example is beyond the ken.

Handbrake takes a bit to figure out but once you do it is amazing. I have about 50% of my DVDs on my media server. I use MakeMKV for Blu Rays and then convert them with Handbrake cause those MKVs are pretty big (think wav vs mp3). But at home I still like to use the physical disks for serious watching. Recently got the Universal Monsters complete Blu Ray collection. Quite stunning.

I did not, I quoted you in direct response to you after my generalized post
Anyways, yes, valid posts, and yes I realized you were speaking to Sky, which is why I didn't quote you, I just happened to be the next poster and I made a generalization that wasn't directed at anybody, but I did happen to post right after you did

I made a generalized opinion
Many people mistake this, because they read my posts with a prejudice
Not saying you do, again, generalizing
I wouldn't want to make a definitive statement on something I know nothing about
Not mistaking your post as prejudice. Just saying it had no relevance to the context of my post

So the other lawyer looking good by being competent is not a very high bar.
So we must all remember this reasoning and use it against you every time you try to make a point that is not a very high bar. I didn't realize we were setting high bar standards discussing 1) a tv show and 2) a tv show based on comic book characters.

Good role models come from real life, not tv
Well the negative role model was brought up by Shar here a bit ago. Had you been paying attention you would have, as I did, remember this and understood I was reffing this. ::sigh:

Unfortunately another episode where I cringed. Her Lawyer was much more likeable than She Hulk was...and she gave good advice.
Hi Shar! What I don't get is you cringed but a woman lawyer in this ep was much more likable and gave good advice? Can't we find good role models even in secondary characters?

But that is not how they are handling these shows. These are the Phase 5 movie characters.
When Phase 5 is released we can better get a feel.

But there is an inherent issue when there are drastic tonal differences in what is being presented as a unified universe. Yes, real life has those differences, but in media similar tone helps to unify. When you have characters that have not met and not interacted, but are supposed to be part of the same universe helps the audience associate them. It is something they are going to need to deal with, if a now comedic character like She-Hulk is now tasted with something serious. Will the character have the weight (in the audience's eyes) to take on scenes like that in the future.
I agree, but what I am saying is it should not BE a unified universe. Which is why I said "They need not be mutually inclusive. In fact it would probably be disjointed/distracting if they tried to incorporate aspects of one into the other." Everything need not be canon. Consider it an expanded "What If...?" concept.
