Issues with Issues! I could not have worded it better!!! Speaking of that it has been a while since I have posted some of my " Issues with Issues " enjoy. Justice League of America #5 Feb 2007 has first 4 wraps repeated.

I can not speak specifically about the Canadian, However a quick search on Ebay pulls up more copies of the 2nd print Newsstand than its direct counterpart, Which leads me to believe this falls along the lines of comics more like the Valiant 2nd + print Newsstands( example being Legend of Zelda)where they were Newsstand or X Factor 71 2nd Gold were also all Newsstand. Making these commonplace unlike 4 of the aforementioned books on the list. Another Example, but was released with an action figure Spiderman 2099 1 White which was also only a Newsstand, but was limited . Some of the most likely candidates for these would be books close to the dates of the few known. Gold Spiderman 1 date 8/90 Batman 457 date 12/90 Superman 50 date 12/90 Robin 1 date 1/91 Superman 75 (3rd print) date 1/93 Although many of us , myself included have been searching for a lot of the potentials and have yet to find one. Still cant help but look though. Most of them during this time were switching over to the Gold for second print and the Spider-Man 1 just keeps a lot of us looking. Several possible issues have already been brought up , again though none have yet been found to have the Newsstand 2nd print. Here is a mostly comprehensive list of DC and Marvel comics from the correct time frame (1989-1993) that all had 2nd or later printings yet not one Newsstand 2nd+ . Although I did leave off a few of the Giveaway and Promotional 2nd prints (examples were J.C. I completely agree that this is an iconic cover, and if he was the cover artist , he definitely deserves the credit!

Completely understand. Still if anyone had a 10 Jeweler's Variant and with the shear number you have collected I wouldn't be surprised that it would be in your collection. Still the 9.8 is an amazing find. Who wouldn't call Bo a 10? Hahaha.. Closest I have to a 10 is the point I was making in another thread about the ease of doctoring photos and printing signatures so I crafted this... even if I ended up with a 10 or even a 9.9 for that matter, I would probably sell it and get a nice 9.4 or 9.6.... Congrats on the find. It is amazing that these could still exist in high grade. Plus a 10? Wow.. That is just jaw dropping for any Mark Jeweler for the same reasons you mentioned. So many places and hands it has gone through. Truly Amazing!

Shipping was $3 and change.. over the years i have managed to get 8 or so of these. Currently i still have 4 that i have kept that have been the higher grade ones and of those it is 2 and 2 . Raffle winner , Shop that the Raffle winner submitted through. This was the cheapest I have won one on Ebay.

I have had some good wins over the years. These are just what I can find in my most recent phones screenshots and on my purchases list from Ebay. No where near some of the previous posts. But to answer the OP what I personally perceive as my best score on Ebay was just after my daughter was born. I was scouring Ebay looking for a few Disney as I wanted to find some of the classics I could share with her through the years. I saw a seller who had several that I had been looking for and after talking with him, I found out he had run a Disney Store for years. He was closing and asked me what I was looking for and how much I was looking to spend. I told him I had just become a father and did have but a couple hundred to spend. He said that would be fine and he was sure I would be happy with what all I would recieve. Which ended up being about 18 boxes each being about 3'x3'... I am sure he spend more in shipping that I originally sent him. I was just shocked... There was so much Disney items.. Promotional Videos, Sales Displays, VHS , Art, Lithographs, Framed pictures, since I have kept in touch and have tried a few times to offer more reimbursement, which he has always declined. I do know , both my daughter and i have had many years of enjoyment from this and these photos are less than half of it as I still have a TON boxed up as well as so many Promotional items and Displays... Way too much to much to picture..

Still congratulations on the find always good to add more that are new to your collection. I have to keep double checking as now I have 1 long box and about 2 short boxes full of just DCU that I really need to just sit down and sort and separate again as I keep getting some that I swear I dont have only to find some already in my boxes. Although on the bright side sometimes they are still an upgrade..

Yeah. There has been a lot of talk about various ways these made it to the public as a 2nd print Newsstand. One of the speculations is through the Sears catalog and could also shed light on why some have Sears stickers as maybe the stores had either returns or stocked some of these and sold individually. Although only a few have turned up with Sears stickers and no one yet has a sealed Sears set that they documented and opened showing they could be found in those. Unlike the Robin 1 2nd print Newsstand thathas now been found in a few sealed comic packs . It would be amazing if we could actually nail down some of the ways these were actually distributed.
