So far the more i see, myself and many others have lost faith in CGC. One of the reasons I have not sent in another submission this year with turn around times hitting up to 5/6 months on some tiers, status updates that have no consistency, fast tracks that have taken longer than regular submissions, No movement on the Registry Requests since June 9th, glitches signing on saying host was down , HORRIBLE NEWTON RINGS , random trash in slab, multiple size slabs on same books, mislabeled books, and now damaging reholder books? This has just become sad. it appears they have just given up on taking pride in the product they sell and us as customers. "The only reputable company " is quickly fostering a reputation that will have more of us giving up on them. It has just become unacceptable and enough is enough.

Last movement on the requests is on page 12 .June 9th. Nothing has been done on these since.

I just realized this was the issue that the comic ferret sold through their Ebay store a while back... should have realized by the background..

This win just arrived in the mail today.

Went through several shops around my local area Pensacola, Florida.

This was a good week. I lucked into almost as many of the sealed sets as I have over the last couple of years.

This is the second of these sealed Doomsday/Funeral sets I have acquired, but have 3 loose raw copies of the 498 and one sealed in a 2 pack. So for now I will keep them sealed, but i do keep getting that urge to bust them all open and go on a grading spree. Still just have to enjoy them sealed in their original package after all this time.

This one cracks me up. I laughed the first time I had a plie of these thrown into a lot of collectables I bought years ago. Thinking wth? Then laughed even harder when they paid for everything I bought in that lot as well as a few hundred dollars profit. Was amazed what they did and continue to sell for. M.u.s.c.l.e. in on them $$$ , but yeah reading this watching pornos, and eating cheetos.

Just a couple weeks ago mentioned this and this week BAM! Scored two of the sealed packs ( different places) as well as landed one single raw that stands a chance at a 9.8 for $1.36...

All the ones with the foil are real. The others are all just missing foil errors! Just look at the Venom black or white foil errors! Remove foil. Bam rare.. But seriously I would be curious if the indica says anything different that the standard version.( not that all of the special or later prints were noted.)

Although if it were a perfect world they would all come back 10's

Not a joke at all. I would love if 3 came back at 9.8 , and if so I would definitely be stopping by here first . Much rather a collector gets these books that I have kept and treasured for so long.

The Action 683 third and the Adventures 499 second appear on comic book realm, however it has been widely discussed , searched and until someone provides actual scans or photos of a real copy . Cover and indica page stating print. It has been accepted that these were never printed and distributed. The images came from a trade where they have cover art and it show a few of the later prints that the logo colors were changed for the actual print and others that were never distributed such as Man of Steel 25 second print. Many others , including myself would love to be wrong about this as we have all searched for them.

So many emotions. I am sure he would take less considering what he just paid for it, still way too much for me. Sure someone will want it , but that much? best of luck to him. That would only make me send some of my copies in for grading. Although I would still keep at least one for my own personal collection.

I would have to agree. Really wish they had both complete sets. Really wanted Superman 75 fifth , 76 third , Adventures 499 second , Justice League 70 fifth , Action Comics 683 third , 685 third , Man of Steel 21 second printings. Wonder if I could commission some of the colorist to change logo colors add Roman numerals and paint DC Universe Logo over direct boxes and create my own DCU CGC SS to complete the set , Although my luck they would call it color touch and PLOD SS them..

I completely agree. When he text me that he bid and won the 4th, I was just shaking my head. I know that I really do not care for the flip, especially when there are so many of us that would really love to have these books in our collections. Having someone who doesn't know what they are looking at just blindly drive the price up...Well i just feel a little bit of my soul die each time.. Congrats on the 74 third print! At least one ended up where it should!

Although in his listing he states that it's only the cover that is correct size. That the pages are from another reprint that is smaller and the cover overhangs. I think I know the reprint from Argentina that you are talking about. That guy makes props.
