    I hurriedly did my grading off of my phone this weekend while at a convention and absolutely crapped the bed on the last two books. I gave them a 5.5 and 6.5 for 7 big points. I had 11 overall for a disastrous round. I’m happy to hear that others think the books were overgraded.

    This is the first superhero related comic I ever owned. It was bought for me by my dad in the summer of 1965.

    He always looked for the best spot to sign so as not to interfere with the details of the cover artwork. This one is absolutely perfect and I’m thrilled to have it.

    In case any of you Flash fans haven’t heard; DC will be releasing a cover to cover facsimile edition of Flash #105 on September 26th. Now, if only they would also do that with the four Showcase appearances.

    I agree with your comments about the excellence of issues 39-52. I extend my personal list to include issues 53-56 as that is when I started collecting Marvel. R.I.P. Mr. Romita.
