  1. Here are three of my keys. Low grade is better than no grade.
  2. Picked up this fairly high grade beauty today.
  3. Edit: Oops. I see that I posted these same books several months ago.
  4. A rendition of the story was published in the newspaper comic strip between August 18th and November 12th, 1960. It’s reprinted in Superman: The Silver Age Dailies 1959-61. I should also mention that this version includes gorgeous Curt Swan art!
  5. You’d be surprised at how much it’s worth even at a lower grade. GRR’s have gone way up.
  6. These were my grades: Underworld #3 4.0 Adventure Comics #256 6.0 Spidey #54 9.2 Iron Man #55 7.0 New Mutants #98 9.6 5 points for a total of 24. Thanks to Mike for a great contest. It was lots of fun!
  7. Showcase #4 Medium tear with crease bottom of front cover breaks color Moderate staple rust with stain top of spine Small tear left top of front cover Light multiple crease left top of front cover breaks color Stain right top of front cover Scratch right bottom of front cover
  8. I should have had a bullseye on the Showcase 4 but, regrettably, I downgraded my correct 4.5 guess to 4.0 just before I submitted. I thought that the front cover had too many serious issues for a 4.5 but the back was very clean so I was comfortable with a 4.0.
  9. The cover of 149 is a stone cold classic. In fact, the whole issue is a classic. It is, without a doubt, my favourite DC book.
  10. I actually had 4.5 on the Showcase 4 but I downgraded it to 4.0 before submitting. The back cover was really clean. I’m at 19 points so I probably need five bullseyes in the final round. The grades are in so there’s no turning back.
