  1. Yep! 6.0, without the rusty staples, would have gone higher, but wow that book has some great colors!
  2. Thank you sir, I will check out the threads you suggested and give it a try. I will test the waters on pricing my books and see what happens. I would rather see a buyer save $50 off my price than pay that fee to Ebay. Thank you for your time!
  3. Question folks, I have been selling on Ebay for many years and was just wandering, can anyone tell me about their experience with selling on the market place here? I am guessing you just post a book with pictures and either choose to accept paypal, right? I see some of the listings accept checks as well. I am not paranoid, but I notice there is talk of a wall of shame board and just want no part of scammers. i have 800+ positive feedback ratings on Ebay and am just sick of their selling fees. Anyone who can give me any input would be greatly appreciated.
  4. I think a 4.0 if there isn't rust on the lower staple with a stain. I know there is some schmutz on the lower cover but i think it could go higher with a press. Not sure about the stuff on the lower cover though. Still, a nice book!
  5. My initial impression was a 2.5, I believe the lower staple is showing rust. Still, a nice book to own!
  6. Does the lower right corner have some non color breaking creasing? Also, is there some long vertical creases at the top staple on the back cover? If so, I wander if a press might not get you to the 9.4-9.6 range? Its late, and Ive had a few, so....
  7. 9.2 here, that Batman #12 was seriously messed up, i didn't enter, but I almost feel your pain, I was at an 8.5 on the BM 12, very humbling round for most!
  8. Nice, i see a small ding on the upper spine corner and a very light staple tear. I'm not real good at high grades but I will say a 9.2?
  9. Congratulations! a TMNT #1 is a great find in any condition! joeypost must have done a great job!
  10. I would estimate a 5.5, a press would almost certainly help, It should get rid of that spine roll and maybe bump it to a 6.0. JMO
  11. 4.0 with a shot at a 4.5, depending on how harsh they grade the stain at the top and if it bleeds to any of the interior pages
  12. Give it some time, I am sure others will chime in. The green ham grading contest really slows down the replies, but they should be coming. I'm not even entered because i knew i couldnt be a regular viewer, and I still spend half my free time watching the contest.
  13. My guess is a 7.0- 7.5 leaning to the 7.5. Nice book!
  14. I agree with the 8.0, as to your scans, are you sure they are being saved as jpegs? I know when I first started scanning, mine were of the wrong "type" it does tell you what type of saved files can be entered. Hope this helps.
  15. I agree with the 6.5-7.0, 6.5 seems the safer bet!
