  1. Welcome to the Fox madness! Sad thing is, for some of the early "Foxes" in my collection, G+ would be a major upgrade.
  2. What an awesome cover. The rendering on the monster's face is particularly nice. You bought this book as a Good+, correct Ryan? I wish all my Good+ books presented that well. Great pickup!
  3. Thanks for the explanations, CM & Ryan...now I really want one of these books! Love it!
  4. I actually never knew "The Eye" was a recurring feature in that series. OK, help me out here...it's stories about a giant eye? A giant, crime-fighting eye? Inquiring minds want to know?
  5. Wow, love those colors! Beautiful copy, Ryan!
  6. Great covers, shiverbones! Another suggestion on the owl is that Cole just liked to draw those feathery textures...the Holiday #6 reminds me of many of his other great "bird covers"...
  7. Meanwhile, back in the realm of mere mortals... I'm very eagerly awaiting this win from yesterday. Centerfold is missing, but I'll live. $44 BIN!
  8. Wow, those Xela airbrush covers are stunning! You never see them all together like this. Great books! We'll know october has viewed this pic when he starts dumping all his LB Coles on the Marketplace forum...
  9. Ryan, this one's going out to you...another Fletcher Hanks "Space Smith" story. Enjoy, all!
  10. Yep, that's gotta be one of the fastest 0 to 60 back down to 0 heart rush of excitment/dissapointments on ebay! Actually, it occurs to me that those of us who look out for Science Comics (Fox), Suspense Comics (1940s) and Mystic Comics (1940s) are all too familiar with that 0-60-0 rush...
  11. Beautiful book, Jon. That's an example of a cover I might not notice in the lower grades I collect in...but when you see a fresh copy like that, it really jumps to life. Great colors!
  12. Sweet Jungle Thrills book, Andy! Very nice! Yeah, who knows on that Startling Terror #11. I've often thought the Startling Terror #11 (2nd) must be a difficult book to sell on ebay, because of buyers' disappointment when they click in and find that generic crime cover instead of the ultra-classic spider cover!
  13. Love that cover! And there's never a need to apologize for condition...especially after you've seen some of my books!
  14. Great books, Jon! These are terrific, and I'm partial to the later Weirds myself. By all means post more of the later books if you have 'em! I'm sure there's plenty of '41-'42 covers most of us have never seen before.
  15. Wow, sweet book John! Everett Atlas horror cover.... (The Man With A Tail is kinda cute, too...)
  16. Yep. I only knew of the small one. Small one is from 1940, right? What year is the large?
