No offense meant, but I'm surprised that Hulk 92 is only $20.
I'd buy a number of those at that price.

Then buy it ......and THEN start pumping it

I know I Said “I’m done here” ... and I am... but I’ll go out with this final post on a positive note, because I can help a fellow Boardie:
DO NOT Spend 1 penny on anything but the 1st print of Thor #1! There are so many 1st prints out there, the market / demand / potential for those other prints looks dismal at best, and drops off sharply. It would be one thing if there was a cool cover art change, but with just the edge colors changing - run ..quick! As for investment on a Thor Variant - I like this one the best ; ( even though it’s the boobless Thor - if you want financial appreciation, this is a strong pick! Expect $100 / NM+ Per )
Ugly cover. It wont go far

And now you can get a CGC 9.6 for $60. Doesn't answer the question of why the book went up so much so fast. A spike that high that fast for a new book doesn't happen very often.
new female character. pumped alot from spec sites. multiple printings. getting a volume 2 next year.

Spawn 300 NYCC silver and gold are lighting up!
all have high watch activity and steady sales with increased prices.
Con variant that just came out...and is selling for quite a bit......and you think that it's "lighting up" and "increasing in price"
sold copies tell a different story

Lets keep it clean boys. I'll start. This was pleasant, seeing as I paid 43 cents for it.
What exactly is " high grade " ? I see many flaws...

It is reasonable. It also helps to illustrate how tough this proposition is.
Since the quote, newsstand sales no longer exist. So now, we have a cut point where the actual number changes. Any guess using Comichron has to take that into account. In addition, the rise in popularity of comic properties worldwide has likely affected international orders and sales. Take the orders for Aero's debut in Agents of Atlas, for example. I think the one Phillipino shop ordered very large on the book, enough to skew percentages.
It really is a guessing game, and the unknown part of the print run varies from book to book, and pre and post newsstand.
PS: Does anyone know if store variants are included in the Comichron numbers? Or, how about when Marvel double ships, as with the above mentioned Agents of Atlas?
Store variants are included in the Comichron order numbers. Double Ships arent, since they are freebies and not ordered by stores.

Another Ben Parker that's not related to the Ben Parker in Spider-man #1

Comichron reports the print run at around 74,000 -- seems like a fairly low print run to me, given the popularity and the push behind the character.
Those are Order Numbers, not Sales. The print run was much more than 74k; the reason you see this book in 5 Below packs

It's the original version of the character. No different than any other character that was created in a different part of the multiverse and then written into mainline continuity. Perhaps you should try reading the books to familiarize yourself instead of blindly chasing the latest hot tip.
Hot tip ? lol. I'll let the spec sites crash & burn your "hot tip".

Very very slow spec week. You know its slow when they finally spec Power Pack 1 as the new soon to be hot book. I've been pimping that book for a year now and i don't see any reason for a new hot status.
