It's not on everyone's radar yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if this 5th print blows up as well. Just ordered 75 at cover...
You preordered 75........before FOC.........at cover price ???? LMAO.

The skins will be available in the Fortnite store (proper name?) the day of release for issues 2-6. The skin for issue 1 is the only print exclusive skin. Link
With that said, I don’t know how much skins sell for in the store or for how long they are available. Anybody here familiar with how other exclusive skins have been handled?
The skin for #1 is not print exclusive.....

Is it just that these are great covers? 10 issues earlier the comics sell for a lot less (but still sell well), 232-236, and I can't imagine the print runs are higher.
240 -244 have the lowest print runs.

Is that a sticker newsstand upc barcode? It looks like a real newsstand. The Ghost book has a upc sticker that looks like a store put it on the bag.

Anybody think the Boba Fett Age of Rebellion one-shot 2nd prints and variant are ridiculously undervalued? They both have super tiny print runs (about 2,000), but they kind of get overshadowed by the awesome Dodson cover on the first printing.
Whoa boy, that's a lot of adjectives..........

If they were interested in appealing to readers, they would have allowed people to pre-order as many as they wanted, which still would have allowed for plenty to be on the shelf for casual fans. Clearly they're not and aren't going to change their business practices to appeal to readers.
Fixed that for ya
Bad Idea's business model is all about appealing to speculators. Limit supply->Create fake demand->Generate hype->Get Hollywood interested.

i saw a discussion in a fb comics group over year and half ago alleging some of the more reputable exclusive cover producers were lying about their print run to falsify the rarity of the books thereby increasing the value of the hold back. the person was telling everyone that if they see covers stated at less than 5-6K it was a lie because that is what DC (in the discussion) requires to make them to print. he had conversations saved and was a part of the scam and was getting shafted on money so he was blowing it up in public. he was subsequently banned, rumors were passed around he was a pedo and the conversation was never allowed again.
just some food for thought.
I know exactly who you are talking about. Im sure others do too....

Easy way to introduce Din Djarin.

They limit the number of stores that can order the book......they reduce retailers orders.........they state that the book can only be sold 1 per customer..............and they have the nerve to come out with "rules" as to how and where the book display has to be.....

People are going to be pissed when they realize that they didn't buy the first unofficial appearance of Harry Potter in a comic, but rather, considering that all of the other magicians in that pic are magicians from comics, and the detail of the wand, what they actually purchased was an unofficial (and not the first) appearance of Timothy Hunter from Books of Magic.
But....but.....but.......CBSI says it's Harry Potter : https://comicbookinvest.com/2021/02/01/harry-potter-the-electric-black-usagi-and-more/
The article must be true............LMAO !!

100,000 is not a big number for a book with 3 covers, especially a SW #1 that introduces a new era and new characters and has been telegraphed as a major focus for future development for at least a year. FWIW, each issue of Three Jokers topped 200K during the summer, and a number of other Marvel and DC new #1 books that are a rehash of characters do more than that regularly.
What hurt this book from a pre-order perspective was the fact that Marvel/Disney did not hype it until after the 1st Print FOC. Speaking as someone who speculated heavily on it, I was giddy that FOC was before the Marvel Investor presentation as it was telegraphed/rumored that there would be an initial HR related announcement (Acolytes D+ show). If you watched the livestream on Monday where they outlined a multi-year, three phase development plan, then you can see that Disney/LucasFilm is putting significant resources into developing this as a non-Skywalker SW property. IF they had done that livestream before the FOC for both the comic and all of the novels, I bet that they would have hit ore exceeded the 200,000 - 250,000 print run for the HR #1 released today.
100k is a big order number. Quit trying to make the book seem rare or low print. It's not.

I want to give a shout out to Mile High Comics (and Chuck) for there excellent website. MH breaks out newsstands from all the rest and is easily navigable with advanced search. Not that I buy from them but you can do some pricing and rarity intel there.
Chuck...is that you ? Nobody else would describe the website like that.......

But still curious about High Republic Adventures #1 numbers, also the fact it seems to be VERY under-looked compared to High Republic #1 (variants) ~
FOC hasnt passed yet. Still another week. I wouldnt say the book is "under-looked" just yet.

There is a rumour that Disney is working on an animated series based on the Star Wars High Republic series that came out in the last few months.

Henchgirl was announced for a Disney adaptation (Freeform), lots of sales yesterday but no crazy price inflations yet. I just remember how hard this book was to come by when it was released by Scout, I’m pretty sure I got one of the literal few copies that were available in my town when it dropped. Some months later I tried to order a copy of the collected 1 & 2 from Scouts website, but they had sold out and sent me a copy of both 1 and 2 instead. That was a pretty awesome error to have fallen on me.
Anyway, the book is just delightful. One of my favorite indies of the last handful years. I hope this will be a good adaptation.
Its....Freeform. Didnt do anything for Cloak & Dagger, aint doing anything for this book.

I have no problem with Ebay's managed payment system. Fees are taken out automatically and it saves me the hassle of worrying about paying them when the time comes. I also have no problem waiting 3-4 days for my money to be deposited.
If you cant wait that long, idk, maybe find an actual job.....
