Could this be the baby from the end of the Jungle Adventure, all grown up?

That's precisely why I was asking about whether her origins had been hinted at. Apparently an issue of the Marvel Handbook had indicated that child was a boy, but since that's never been indicated in an actual story, I would say all bets are off.

Man, you guys do not read comics :whatthe:

Read Marvel Comics Presents 3-6, you'll understand Rien's origin.

I got a good feeling this series is headed to Netflix and it may be the best thing that happened to prices on the comic and the longevity of the television series.  :wishluck: Then again, maybe I'm in denial. lol  Either way, I thought this series was as good as Umbrella Academy and Titans.  It was on the short list for best comic to tv adaptation in my opinion.

Netflix wont nab it. The show is doa.

Yes, I got the Superman New 52 #8 newsstand from a dude on the boards who received a bunch of newsstand variants that were rescued by his buddy from the Barnes and Noble shredders.  He did a posting on it, which was interesting.

I have yet to see Action 252 Millennium newsstand.  I'm beginning to wonder if there were a few of those Millennium editions that did not get printed in the newsstand format.   For example, I've never seen the JLA #1 Millennium newsstand issue in newsstand format except for a couple copies that have the official-looking newsstand stamp on them.   See photos below.   That makes me think that a few of these Millenniums never got printed with a newsstand bar code.   It would be neat if someone found an Action 252 Millennium with newsstand bar code on it.

Side note:   Funny how the mi-1990s are now feeling like ancient history for old timers like me. Look at Superman's mullet on the cover below... business up front but party in the back.   Heck... that was more than 20 years ago, dagblammit!

Thats not a stamp. Thats a barcode sticker that a store put on the cover.

What do you all think will happen with Naomi #1 First Print? I got a few copies when they were $25.00 each. I now see a 9.8 with 5 days left on eBay already at $587.77. Since I'm new to this, I don't have any knowledge to base a guess off of. I'm just curious what you all think will happen. Will it rise for a few weeks, months, and then crash? Will it slowly rise? Just hype for a few weeks?

    Curious, thanks!

Shilled. Easy to spot. With 5 days left, it was a dumb move

They are selling pretty well on the bay today. I wonder what the PR is:popcorn:

I read it was 2 per Walmart?

The vendor or employee only puts out 2 of each 3-packs. I think there's like 5 or 6 new 3-packs out now. Once those sell, they restock them. It's utter nonsense that people are saying this Artgerm cover is "2 per store".

Rumor is that it was not their idea. They were talked into it by stores. I don't have any proof of that.

It will have a first appearance. That's why the 1st print 1:25 has been selling for as much as $200 and they are doing this now.

Joe Bennett, also does the interiors and they are good. I agree, odd cover, but it relates to the story.

Theres no evidence of a 1st appearance

It's basic observation skills you apparently can't grasp.

All the big onlines had them yesterday at cover price. Midtown,Mcs,gmart,Graham Cracker,etc..

All gone now or prices have been bumped or limits set. Combine that with the few Ebay sales over cover price and you should be raising a brow. If you're not, you're doing wrong.

It's doing well. I didn't say it was the next IH or Saga. I didn't even say it has legs.

    Are you always this dense?

The book came out last week. So yea, keep pumping......

You're failing to notice the subtle signs. I'm two days ahead of you on research.

Again, if you didn't catch it, I said it's doing well. All of them. It's showing signs of picking up. That's the point of the thread.

    Calm down.

You are definitely not 2 days ahead of me. More like 2 days behind. This is a 5 issue miniseries. Plenty of copies at online stores for cover or below. Yea there's a 2nd print coming, but unless a 3rd and 4th come, it doesnt mean much. Almost every Image #1 book gets a 2nd print :roflmao:

Last one sold for $16.14 on ebay and most shops are sold out. It's not on fire but that's not the name of the thread.

    It is.

    Your turn!

Im not going to keep doing this back-and-forth argument. If you cant do the research, you already failed. Look at the dates of available copies. The $16 one that sold was probably shilled or the buyer was not smart.Untitled.jpg.a5f3f9d53127b0986648900fc0bae75d.jpg
