  1. Is it possible they ship once per month on pre-orders to save customers on shipping costs?
  2. Viewers after episode 11 Hype Train: Bo Katan...final stop. Now boarding...Ahsoka Tano. Viewers after episode 13 Hype Train: Ahsoka Tano...final stop. Now boarding...Grand Admiral Thrawn.
  3. This. Honestly, the death of some of the clones (hell even a droid like R7) struck me enough. If they ever put the death of Ahsoka on screen, I'd need to take bereavement from work to recover.
  4. I agree, I wasn't a fan of her Rebels look. The animation style of the series in general just went for the taller/thinner/lankier aesthetic for many of the characters. I mean, Sabine looks like a twig in the series.
  5. I haven't bought from Midtown in a while so I'm not sure what their policy is.
  6. I wouldn't call it perfect. The length of her "hair/horn" things in Rebels is longer. But I can understand why they opted for a shorter headpiece as it's easier to work with while filming and doing stunts. My only complaint with live action Ahsoka was the lack of her fighting with a reverse grip (except at the end when it was used for theatrical effect).
  7. Just to be clear, are you referring to Heir to the Empire #1 or Kanan the Last Padawan #1 & 6?
  8. Loved the stand off sequence at the end because it blended the two main influences to Star Wars: Westerns and Samurai flicks. Also, that name drop at the end? I was not expecting that.
  9. If you go to your cart you can update the quantity there. Warning though, if you go to the FAQ, there's a comment about ordering too many multiple quantities of books. If DCBS believes you to be retailer, re-seller, speculator, or buying club, they may cancel your order or adjust shipping accordingly.
  10. This could be the Best Thanksgiving EVER.
  11. I don't know if it's any different whether it's a known or unknown artist. Request a creator form from CGC, have your friend/artist fill it out, they submit the book with the creator form to CGC.
  12. My point of contention was specifically about the "unsellable" comment. If someone had the book signed specifically with the intent to flip it and sell it, then there is truth to the statement that it was unsellable to begin with. As the book is for your personal collection, it seems irrelevant to comment on resale value and instead the main focus should be your personal attachment to the book. I agree, it sucks to not have a book exactly the way you want it but there's nothing CGC could do about it. The signing event probably involved hundreds of books and in the split second when Bagley signs the book and the smudge is spotted, it's far too late for anything to be done. I mean, what's CGC supposed to say? "Uh hey Mark, can you please be mindful of smudges when you sign?"
  13. No offense, but that book was "unsellable" before it was signed and slabbed. It's not a notable key issue, was probably produced in large quantities, and a quick ebay search shows recent sales below $5. It's probably something I could find in the dollar bin at my local shop. That said, it's a nice clean cover that represents Bagley's Spider-Man pretty well. I'm not sure what you expect CGC to do about it as it looks like it was smudged during signing. Personally, I think you should be happy that it's so big and legible.
  14. Literally had no idea until you pointed it out. Wondering if whoever created the label used the numbers above the letters on the keyboard instead of the 10 key and just fat fingered a 0 instead of a 9.
  15. I've sent an offer or two that's about 60% of what the seller has listed as BIN. I basically lay out how I arrived at my offer by providing recent sales. If there are no recent sales, I'll take similar sales items and then add a premium to account for the fact that the seller's book is one of a kind (this is more the case when looking at signature series books or remark/sketches). I always try to be polite and logical. If the seller rudely dismisses it, I'd probably rather not be putting money in their pockets anyways.
  16. @AshleyHabedank Off topic, but if you guys could get Jonathan Hickman to do a private signing, that would be greatly appreciated.

  18. For the difference between a Press and a Quick Press. https://www.cgccomics.com/ccs-pressing/ FastTrack just moves you ahead of the queue. If you've ever been to Disneyland, think of it like the wait between the standard queue and the FastPass line. You're just paying so that your book gets pressed before non-paying customers.
  19. When I ship high value books, it's always in a priority box. I'd much rather pay the additional $10 on shipping for all the added protection it offers.
  20. Did you do any basic research or did you just mail your book on a whim and hope it would make it back to you? That said, there is a helpful website that can answer your questions. If you go to www.cgccomics.com that's probably a good place to start.
  21. Yeah, this is normal. Depending on how busy they are, I've heard of times where it's taken like 3 weeks to appear as "received" in the system.
  22. Were your books taped to the middle of the board or were they free to slide around? I've received packages like this that seem sturdy enough, but open it to find out the bagged/boarded books aren't affixed in place where the edges of the cardboard can take the brunt of the damage and instead the books themselves got corner damaged. Conversely, I've shipped books sandwiched between 4 sheets of cardboard and firmly taped to the middle to avoid movement and have yet to have any issues with corner damage. /knockonwood
