Teen Titans #12 and Dark Nights: Metal #2 were both released on the same day. Metal #2 occurs before Teen Titans #12 from a story perspective, which in my book means that should be the real 1st appearance.

It still bugs me that someone, somewhere decided New Titans #12 is the first appearance. Like it isn't. It just isn't. (ugh, sorry for the rant).

I must have missed that. I only saw the set of 3 (trade cover/retro/virgin) for $120. Didn't see a set with only 2 covers.

I mean, I like that cover. But i'm not willing to spend $120 to get it. Between his and JSC's prices, I just feel like these artists are growing more out of touch with the fans. Sure, the books sell out, but it's increasingly feeling like something specific for high end collectors.

yeah, I dunno what I was thinking. I should have just put up my reader copy for $200 and posted it as a "GREAT DEAL! GEM MINT+" and tried to make some money.

The trailers haven't been anything exceptionally exciting, but lets wait for the movie to release before passing judgement. Marvel has a track record of making fun/above average to truly great movies that I think they deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Yeah, but it has to be used by a certain date. I don't buy much on eBay to begin with, so having a "use it or lose it" coupon isn't worth as much to me as something that just provides the discount outright.

I don't even bother with the eBay bucks. It just incentivizes you to buy more on eBay. I'm holding out for a 15-20% off coupon code.
