I'm with you 100%. I put that book on my watch list every time it's listed and it never sells. I've inquired about getting it restored and I think it would be a few hundred for that! No way I can cough up $300 for it no matter HOW much I need, er... want it.

Do you have a larger scan? I don't have a scanner, but I'll see if I can get a better shot with my digital camera. It's in really nice shape tho! There is a tear on the bottom edge, but you can't see it and the colors are BRIGHT too. Perfect for me. I've got a few more VG-FN's coming in too....

Nice grab! That cover has a little bit of everything. I snagged this one for $30 shipped last week.

Yup! Same size! I haven't had time to look at all of it, but I've flipped through most of it. The pages are that old-school thick style paper that could break easy so I want ot be careful with it. I just love the cover image, and it's so obscure too.

Looks like a really nice copy too! The cover of mine is nice, but it's almost a little blurry. Can't complain though, I only paid $8.50. This is a weird little book. It's fully of quotes and has 1 panel cartoons. It's kind of like a Playboy with only the jokes and cartoons. Oh, and there's some freaky ads in there too!

I just snagged a copy of this one off of ebay cheap! Can't wait until it gets here! I love the early Cole stuff... FYI, I found this on this page: Ben Samuels' LB Cole Cover Gallery. There are a bunch of other GA covers on that site, but Ben took the link from the Cole specific page off. This is the only other time, besides the ebay copy I have coming to me, that I've seen this cover. You guys know anything about it?

I thought about throwing down on that Unsane book as it's one I REALLY want, but that was just too much with that sub crease. And that rant is crazy. To each his own I guess....

If I remember correctly, that woman was there for some kind of photo shoot and some fool tries to rob them or something. It's funny because I think she has that yellow coat on that BARELY covers her legs at all. She'd be freezing anywhere polar bears lived, but of course it's no big deal. ....I love the golden age...

I scored this one off of the bay a few weeks ago. Excellent non-funny animal cover! And a cool story too! That's one of the reasons I like the VG-FN copies, I don't feel bad about actually READING them.

I picked up that one at the first WW Philly Con a few years ago. Great cover! The purple pulled me right in!

Sharp book Adam! I'm going to try and take better pics of my Cole books. Most came out too dark.

Yeah, I may have added in a few that didnt' belong, but it's still a good list to start with. I'm sure they are easy to pick off. Yeah, I rememeber ya! Good books too! Well, I took pics of a butt-load of my LB Cole book and most of them didn't come out as well as I'd have liked. But this one came out pretty well, and I'm almost certain that it's not up here yet. This one has a "classic" notation and was one of my 1st: Target Comics V. 9 #12

I love that All-Famous Police Cases 16 cover. Last night I took pics of ALL my Cole books to start posting pics... then left the camera at home. Hopefully next week I'll remember and maybe post 1 per day. I've got over 30 of 'em, most are mid-grade, and they are a wide variety of comics. I'll make May LB Cole Month!

Oh, and Power 2 is not an LB Cole cover. Thanks. Actually, that's why it has a ? after it. They aren't ALL LB Cole covers, some are labeled with interior art too. I'll have to check the Overstreet, but I may have either put in on the list as a guess to check or it's labeled and the guide doesn't know either.
