  1. The GRR! This book doesn't get enough love. I plan on grading mine, a solid 7.5. Congrats!!!
  2. Well, there's always this famous spread: I think some of his interiors were pretty good for the time. He didn't do that many though. I have some of his Ace and some on other Manhunt work that I haven't had graded yet. I'll have to dig them out and take some pics and you can decide for yourself.
  3. Not sure I've posted this one, at least since it's been graded. I just had to scan it for my registry set so I'll bump the thread with it. No LB Cole cover, but he did interiors:
  4. If you have Amazon Prime look for the Image Revolution. Saw it the other day. Pretty cool!
  5. Try using this: https://www.chronologyproject.com/m.php#MAN-THING_II Use the key if you can't translate the title codes. It helps find those random issues you didn't know or forgot about. I'm working on a Hobgoblin run that it is good for. Although mostly it drives me nuts because I now need things like Darkhawk #2.
  6. Yeah... I watched that. That's a drop in the bucket to what a few other comics went for. It was an insane auction!
  7. Not 100% sure, but I don't think there were too many more pumpkins in my focus in this ASM volume. This may be the last one in this mini-run, but I'll hold off judgement for now. I'm just psyched to have this one, as the cover is pretty killer. Check #870 off the list!
  8. NEWSFLASH!!! I've been in contact with "the powers that be" in trying to get something done and I just got word that it's happened. The issue FOUR FAVORITES #13 has been officially designated as the 1st LB Cole comic cover and this will be noted on future submissions. I gave them what research I had with a bit of info and CGC did the rest. I tried to get this done when I sent my copy in last year, but no luck. With only 13 on the census and only 10 universal I'm wondering if more copies will pop up. Here's my restored copy, if you aren't familiar with it:
  9. Thanks! I had to open up the portfolio for this one. It's from #48 of that Spidey story. Fitting I should add it too!
  10. Whoa... strong result. Maybe I should have pressed mine?
  11. Thanks. I'm getting there... https://comics.www.collectors-society.com/WCM/ComicCustomSetView.aspx?s=33793
  12. One more grouping, then food. Had to scan in these tonight, also in the never gonna complete the run (but I do have the Cole cover part complete!)
  13. Also in the realm of "have fun trying to collect" here's 2. I have no idea how many others there are in this run. They are 14.5" x 10.25" and don't fit on my scanner. I got as much of them as I could at once, otherwise I'll have to just take pics. One was from a boardie and the other I think I found on ebay (the supermarket one). I present the most likely rarest of Cole space covers and the most off the wall cover!
  14. Well, I'm glad I took a back cover scan! You tell me! (BTW - part of the reason I'm doing this is to add them to my registry so all of these scans if they are CGC books can be seen there, including this)
  15. Somehow these didn't get scanned either. I must have been slacking when this box arrived. (yes, the STT 10 was a frustrating result)
  16. Well done sir! It's nicer than mine. I grabbed this one because they come up for sale so infrequently. Here's mine and a few more in the run.
  17. I need MORE POWER! I'd grab a reader of #2 if an affordable one was such a thing just to complete the set (plus it's pretty cool) but these 3 will have to do for now. The #1 will have to get put in a CGC slab but I can share the cover at least.
  18. Having fun scanning today. Here's one that I don't know if I've shared before since I got it graded as I'm just scanning it now. Expect a few more.
