  1. Somehow I'll manage. I'll hold on to it for now, JIC. Buf if I do need a pick-me-up you're the 1st person I'll PM!
  2. True - I didn't even think about the manhole aspect, although that is cool. I looked this book up on Heritage and I found a graded one that just says "LB Cole art" so maybe he did some interior art too, but he does get credit for the covers of this short run. I think now I have a 1 & 7. Looks like I've got some hunting to do!
  3. A quick pickup, while these Cole books are still reasonable...
  4. I know! It all just cracks me up! There is sooooooo much going on. And look at the love, who holds onto a chick on a ROLLER COASTER like that?!?!? I just love it!
  5. I love this one. All is good... then you read the title card on the left... "BECAUSE I HATED STEVE!" The colors, the detail, the faces... just great stuff. I may be wrong bu I think this is the 1st issue of TTL Romoances too. I know it's an early one.
  6. Guilty as charged! BTW - Did anyone else see the THRILLING CRIME CASES #49 unslabbed 5.5 on Heritage sell last night? $956!!!
  7. Nice stuff. I also tracked down that fish in the face cover even though it wasn't a Cole book.
  8. I wish. I just swiped that from an old Comic Connect auction.
  9. Call me when you do. This one is still a hole in my collection.
  10. Just found this on Heritage, likely never posted here. Sold in 2006:
  11. It was a cover for a magazine in 1966. I forget the name, but I think it was some kind of rod & gun type of mag. He did a handful of them but I haven't tracked them down yet. On my list tho. Ah, here's another one I just found.:
  12. mustang33guy - Awesome!!! I went after a few of his original paintings of birds but fell short. Here's one of them that I missed out on:
  13. Most odd book of any kind I've seen in quite some time. You win!
