  1. Stellar choices! Love the pickups. The colors on the MoM are nice!
  2. Thanks. I'm a bit of an LB Cole freak....
  3. Thanks! Yet another example of a killer cover with a bird that Cole did. There's one more (a 4 Most cover) that I need to chase down, as I have the Power 3 and the 2 Eagle Comics books. I've also snagged an All Romances #1 (1949, Ace) Canadian edition with LB Cole interior art and a 2nd copy of Target Western Romances #107, which is a pretty rare Target book.
  4. I love this mini. I have on original printing of the 1st tpb and for years I'd read this at least once a year. I got the recent HC and re-read it again. Awesome stuff....
  5. Very cool! Love the interior, and the "Spidron!"
  6. One of my favorites as well! Awesome copy of a great cover! But then, I haven't found any Everett PCH cover that wasn't fantastic. Great copy! One of these days, I'll find a copy of this book....
  7. Just snagged this one off of the for sale boards. Been looking for a decent copy for a while.
  8. It's a cool book but pretty obscure. What are the chances of ever running across another collector interested in them? I chase the LB Cole covers!
  9. Ones that have 25 books with newsprint pages is good and 30 with the new paper is good. That makes book around 2" thick. This one was an experiment to make as pseudo omnibus. This volume is 2.75" thick and is the first 41 issues with annuals. The second will be the rest with the Marvel Two-in-One #99 issue. Don't forget to throw in the PM&IF #73 and Hulk (I think) #197! I think IDW was planning on making a nice reprint collection of the original Rom run in like 4 volumes, and I think the spines were going to even form an image. Looked nice!
  10. Out of those I like: #158 #168 #181 Yes, on the #131. For other ideas I also like: #100 #81 (the big $.20 issue) #27, great yellow cover #42, with Cap by Kirby #53, overall sweet cover The Joe Quesada #1 cover Just my thoughts!
  11. All Romances #1 on Ebay So this will give you some comparative valuation. Brunom is a seller out of Canada - he has other Ace "Trans-Canada" books in nice shape. This copy of All Romances #1 has been relisted each month for at least 9 months, maybe longer. Brunom doesn't drop his price on the relist, nor take offers lower than 90% of the ask. I've thought about buying this book from time to time - I would if it were $75 for sure. But I like Canadian copies, most (US) collectors don't. So that makes your copy worth around - $15? $20? On the other hand, I've never seen a nice US copy of this issue, and his and yours are the only Canadian copies I've seen. Romance - hard to price out just based on scarcity. Demand is the more important driver. Excellent info, thanks! I suspected being a Can edition and a little beat it wasn't uber valuable, but it did seem kind of interesting. These boards are never ending source of knowledge. I'm actually watching your listing. I collect all LB Cole stuff! Good luck!
  12. Mine now...and brutal. I have the recent DH reprints of CNDP, and the last volume goes up to #57! Sweet!!! Can't wait to read this story!
  13. Kind of sci-fi, kind of not, but there's a babe and a gorilla!
  14. Nice score Gino! Yeah, most torture covers show SOME bit of hope of being saved. Not these dudes! Yikes!!!
  15. These are all awesome, but I love this one!
  16. Sweet - do any of them have glasses? The Pidgy may be a Gerber no-show, or at least high on the scale. I've got 2 copies of the UNSANE book, neither perfect but one with a better spine than another. Here's one of 'em: As for other odd ones, I think this fits the bill....
  17. Great pickups guys. That ATOMIC COMCS cover is just so cool. I still wonder WTF is going on there!?!?!?!
  18. Dayum Jimbo! Sweet copies! I'd like a #28 too, but they are tough in any grade. I did just snag this one, no glasses attached, but it fills a hole in the collection:
  19. And this is direct from photobucket, so it may not last long but...
  20. I wonder if we'll see a new posting from a boardie on the Catman #31 that just sold on the bay last night...... Speaking of Catman....
  21. I had a few bids on that one, as it's one I still need. Glad it got a good home!
