  1. S/he's talking about tweeting at them. It's a public message that the Twitter account will get notified for being tagged in.
  2. The comic in the thread you referenced is both detached and incomplete (missing back cover). I can't recall if I've ever seen a graded comic with covers or wraps completely detached at all staples.
  3. A massive difference being that investment in stocks is liquid money. A collectible has to actually sell for you to get your potential assets in cash. The 401k market hasn't been around long enough to see whether or not it's a great retirement investment. It's a good place to put your money, at least temporarily, though.
  4. We're also talking about auctions, so, which site are you gonna put a higher bid on? Heritage, or eBay? Your $1k bid on Heritage is subject to an additional fee.
  5. The seller doesn't always up-charge for FVF, though. Sometimes there is no FVF charge on eBay. So, it's not the same. On Heritage, there is always a Buyer Premium.
  6. All 3 of my local shops are closed until further notice. 2 of them are likely to go out of business because of shenanigans.
  7. Maybe sometimes, but, not exactly. I wouldn't exactly call myself "nice", but I (always) appreciate your positive outlook.
  8. There's an added fee on top of your bid. On eBay, there isn't.
  9. It's not, though. Your final bid on eBay is final. There are no added fees outside of taxes. If you bid $1k on Heritage - you're paying taxes and more. If you bid $1k on eBay - you're only paying taxes (where applicable). There are ways of mitigating seller fees on eBay, too.
  10. Purchased today: Absolute Batman: Dark Knight III Absolute Batman: Incorporated Only 6 Absolute Batman books left to go...
  11. If they compile the Hill House comics into TPB/HC, I will have to check them out.
