  1. My first purchase in a little bit, but, it's a big one: Sealed copy of Absolute Dark Knight. Edit: I don't know why, but, when I first purchased an Absolute Edition (The Killing Joke?) I kept the UPC card. I have that card for every Absolute (17) that I have bought since, so, finding a sealed copy is a huge deal to my OCD.
  2. The "8 Years Later". That would put Homecoming's timeline in 2020 since The Avengers occurred in 2012. I think that Sony screwed up and Marvel didn't catch it. I know that Feige has claimed "it wasn't a mistake" after the awareness of it, but he also said, "I don't think we would've done it the same way again". Some have said The Avengers takes place in 2010, but even then, Homecoming couldn't occur in 2018 (could it?). And Vision firmly places Civil War in 2016 and Iron Man in 2008. Did Homecoming occur in 2018 and Infinity War in 2019? I guess I didn't consider that until right now. I think that Homecoming is a great movie.
  3. The MCU is fairly consistent, but they do make continuity changes, and they also make mistakes (Homecoming). There's also 10 trillion fan theories and it's sometimes difficult to remember if it came from Feige/Marvel or an article that you'd like to simply agree with.
  4. Did you get that when it was released, or aftermarket prices?
  5. I wasn't around back then, and this is what I read, and was told after I started posting. Just FYI.
  6. Remember when you tried to teach me and failed miserably?
  7. Yes. Everyone makes mistakes. CGC should fix the label at no cost to you. They made the mistake. Email or call them about it. CGC is the most-credible professional grading company for a reason. The difference between a 9.6 and 9.8 is minuscule. 3 graders agreed to assign them 9.6s. You're free to disagree, but, you're paying for their collective professional opinion.
  8. Highlight all the text in the post and then you should see an option to quote selection. Omfg someone finally taught me comprehensively...
  9. Wait... You're not going to demand something insane for your 40,000th post...?
  10. lolwut Like... Actual Gem Mints from a grading company? Or just your opinion of your own stock?
  11. But... Isn't the pre-screen for the discretion of CGC...? It's been mentioned that he could've just paid for pressing on it... Idk...
  12. Anything in the 5.0 range is a great "reader" copy IMO.
  13. If you're going to sell them #48-52 are big $$$$$. If not, and you want to continue enjoying them, just bag/board them properly.
  14. Elaborate? Are you talking about like when the message you're quoting shows up in your post, like yours does in mine right now?
  15. Word on the street is that I'm going to be laid off for the next 2 work weeks. If that doesn't motivate me to read this year; nothing will.
  16. Krasinski would be a perfect Mr. Fantastic. Jim from The Office is a 1-dimensional/single-facet piece of his acting chops - not to be used to determine his entire ability to act. I am 100% confident that he would do the character justice. Whose to say that they don't CGI him as a wimp, and after his powers, he keeps his body sculpted because he can and doesn't want to continue looking like a physical pushover...? He's a Grade-A choice for this role. Something something something hypocrisy of hating an actor in a role before a movie is released?
  17. this post is too serious for this topic. It's all just a fun challenge. However... One comic book is 1 comic book. I think the original idea was 22 pages minimum counted as 1 book. I definitely cheated already and counted some 10-page minis as 1 book. 3 books.
