  1. What are the grades of the books that do not have notes?
  2. I wanna post the, "fight me u lil _____", but I'll get in trouble...
  3. I don't know if that user was asking the question in context of collaboration with the app (despite posting in this topic). I was just answering from a general POV. Even with the app, if you're just looking for steals, you're unlikely to have gained momentum from a time/cost perspective. "No amount of money ever bought a second of time." It would be nice if, y'know, people joined the hobby out of passion for the hobby. The less money-hungry vultures - the better it is for the hobby. Concur? That's not a dig on dealers, either. There will always be those who are in it from a business perspective, but there are too many people who think they can sneak right past ya for a profit and it simply hurts the circulation of product among the people that actually want the product. Good, reputable, dealers are good for the hobby in moderation.
  4. With expensive books like these - also ship with signature confirmation to further protect yourself. As mentioned above, you're less likely to run into problems here compared to elsewhere.
  5. I'm not asking for 40% or anything, but when you can get things like Absolute Editions for cheaper than MSRP anywhere online, I just see literally no motivation for me to buy them in-store. To be fair, they do have some discounted and clearance HCs and TPBs. So I walk in and peruse every now and then. I actually got a few of my Spawn Origins books there!
  6. I'd post a dancing banana emoji, but I don't wanna get suspended right when the grading contest begins...
  7. Comics Market - Forum Only Selling Area I have only purchased from sellers via PayPal. They invoice me, I pay it, and they ship it. Haven't had any problems. I know that's not selling advice, but, it's all I got!
  8. Gotta renew driver's license, vehicle registration, and insurance in 3rd Q... Puts a strain on the ol' disposable income tally.
  9. Closest LCS probably sells more action figures than comics. Their HC/TPB selection is almost non-existent. No good pre-Modern selection. I haven't gone there in probably 6+ months. 2nd closest has an okay selection of single issues, but I can never find a complete run. Great HC/TPB choice, but I can get those 40%+ off at IST, and the LCS doesn't have any sort of discount. 3rd closest LCS is run by a guy that doesn't know how to interact with human beings. LCSs are a dying breed.
  10. The fact that, unless you know exactly what you're doing, you're unlikely to succeed. Capitalism gives you the opportunity to pursue selling comics. Logic gives you the thought process to realize that your outcome is likely unfavorable.
  11. What's wrong with drooling...? I've subscribed to the idea that the Bronze Age ended with the beginning of the "Dark Age" of comic books in 1984. I think the "Copper Age" is a dumb label and group all "CA" books with Modern.
