  1. + Snape (and I'm not really a Harry Potter fan).
  2. Modern definition of a Mary Sue doesn't need to be young or female. It basically defines any primary character that is perfect without reason. Which Rey fits to a tee. It's very strange that Rey is the Mary Sue while Kylo Ren actually has character development. Typically, the villain is the OP object to defeat - without much reason as to how/why s/he is so powerful. The hero typically has to overcome that obstacle. For whatever reason, they chose to just make Rey powerful without logical reason. Questionable and odd choices there.
  3. It's a Joker-titled movie. So, of course it's going to take the character further for modern audiences. Joker will never be "cooler" than Batman. Batman is who the average man wants to be. Joker is his antithesis.
  4. USPCC/EPCC/Cartamundi/etc are basically the DC/Marvel/Image/etc of playing cards. Basically, a designer creates a deck, and has it printed by one of those manufacturers.
  5. You're 100% ignorant of the hobby. I have never sold a deck of playing cards below 200% "MSRP". I have sold decks for 4 figures. You cannot buy these playing cards at any "novelty store". Playing cards are some of the most lucrative projects on Kickstarter.
  6. You're*, and no, I'm not. If/when I have sold a deck I have never taken a loss.
  7. Yes. No. They have "card game" in the name, already. They exist for trading purposes, though. Some may also refer to it as a "collectible card game".
  8. Pokemon is a trading card game. Playing cards are Bicycle, Bee, Tally-Ho, etc.
  9. Too old, IMO. Great actor, though. I'd like to see him in the MCU, when it's gets more interesting, and less convoluted.
  10. There are people who collect decks of playing cards and never open them. I mean, I buy 2. 1 to open, and 1 to keep for a backup/resell. To never open a deck of playing cards, though...? Crazy.
  11. I don't buy slabs. The comics satisfy me.
