  1. I would probably get the ones worth $150+ (when in the CGC case) graded, but, you would have to be very close to the CGC grade to make it worth it. You can utilize the 'Please Grade My' sub-forum if you don't know how to grade comics by yourself.
  2. From my limited experience with foil covers, most of them seem to be embossed, which pressing will 'deboss' them to a certain degree since the intent is to basically flatten the comic.
  3. Those "questions" were rhetoric commentary, so... Obviously you didn't understand the OP - leading to the tangential unrelated question. That conjecture of "edge" is exactly why I inferred your implied "edge". As I said, had you read the thread, eventually that guy at the corner saying "the end is nigh" will be right. At some point all of the old fogeys who appreciate physical art and collection will die off - IRL or from the collecting game - and the next generation isn't wealthy enough to buy at these rates. Either the prices will be fixed to move product or the comic collecting community will become suddenly very small (therefor also fixing prices).
  4. Not sure how Loki's death can be described as "undignified". He did what he was never willing to do before - sacrifice his selfish pursuit of power to save his brother, and then tried to make good by his misdeeds by attacking Thanos himself. After what happened in New York, and the certain threat upon his life by Thanos and The Other, he knew there was no way he was making it out alive. Unfortunately, in saving his brother and proving himself to be more than just the God of Mischief, he periled the universe. Dying to conceal The Tesseract was the 'greater good'.
  5. Asking if I am "new to comics" would be the tangent, sir/ma'am. It's irrelevant. I didn't take anything as an insult. I'm not insulted. Are you confused? These prices make it difficult for people to afford the hobby to continue in good health.
  6. Post No. 4,300. I look forward to my Detective Comics 1000 Alex Ross Variant A Gem Mint prize for this exclusive achievement. #kthnxbai
  7. Why the does your post keep moving up up the ladder..? It was like 10 posts ago and it keeps showing up right before the latest reply...
  8. Someone with 3,000 posts and no unique avatar deserves nothing.
  9. Not giving you that action figure would bring more joy to the masses. Also, less collectors = less demand = lower prices. Win-win IMO.
  10. Which is why it's important for characters to stay dead in the film universes. Many people were disillusioned into thinking Endgame wouldn't have any stakes. Which is why there was poor decision-making regarding bringing young children to see it opening weekend. I literally had no expectation or idea that Superman was gonna die in BvS. It totally caught me off-guard.
  11. Whatever the blue one was died. Scream? Idk. I can't find any source that agrees on which the 4th one was.
