  1. It's difficult not to get hyped for this one, though. Like I said, I like (actually love) the 2014 Godzilla movie a lot. I have a weird affection for Godzilla, despite the 1999/2000 movie.
  2. Wtf are you doing? Trying to be the next Hulk..?
  3. It's a method of 'cheating'. An obscured image is easier to generate. That's why the Thanos, and more recently Professor Hulk, imagery is phenomenal. They look real without being obscured. Add Ebony Maw to that list, too. Their "clothes" help a lot, though. Shirtless Hulk is more difficult to synthesize. They did similar stuff in 2014's Godzilla, but I like that movie a lot. Even in the trailers it appears like the titular Godzilla vs Ghidorah battle was gonna happen in the evening during a storm. I'll wait to judge myself. I know that generating 17+ monsters isn't gonna be easy. I'll give them as much flak as I can. 2014's Godzilla has a lot of good, non-obscured visuals of him and the MUTO. If you spend the appropriate amount of time and resources, though, you could make more realistic and bright imagery.
  4. It matches CGC's standards for a 9.6, though. That's my primary contention. And, yeah, that would be worse.
  5. Nice HQ zoom. [/s] The corner makes it a 9.6 - and that's it.
  6. I still have yet to read my book of that series. I'll have to take it on the 4-day wedding party vacation next month.
  7. Not sure what book you're looking at. No "heavily rounded corner". Staples are not spine ticks. Obviously you're not aware of CGC's standards about certain writing practices... So, yeah, "agree to disagree"...
  8. Are you wearing your glasses? Looks like a 9.4+, easily, to me.
  9. I don't recall this being posted: Truly a love story to the Original 6. Ant-Man's quantum involvement gave him a lot of screen time. Tony Stark's best friend makes sense. Thanos' biological daughter. Not sure how they chose Rocket, though.
  10. I thought we were discussing Mile High Comics..?
  11. He cannot exist in the Earth-616 timeline unless he Planeswalks the multiverse. He wouldn't be the same Loki, though. He'd be Earth-616 circa 2012 + New-Experience Loki. I thought that Loki's permanent death early in Infinity War was perfect. Thanos enacted the revenge that The Other promised. "There is no barren moon, no crevice where he can't find you." I'm not a fan, at all, of dead characters returning via the multiverse. With the Fox merger, I am all-for new and powerful characters crossing over.
  12. Nice! I've never ordered from Mile High. I've never been a "mile high", though, to even consider buying from them...
  13. I thought it was Secret Wars #8. I guess I was wrong. I'm definitely no Spidey expert, though.
  14. I won't know until 2021, when it's shown on TV. Haven't seen an X-Men (titled) movie in theaters since #3. Saw Origins: Wolverine and Logan in theaters, though.
  15. Reading earlier comments, I was leaning towards the "religious nut who just wants to destroy them".
  16. I gotta get into some Transformers comics. Transformers were one of my biggest things as a kid. Even in high school, I bought some of the newer toys, because I loved them as a kid and it amazed me how much they advanced in toy production after all those years. I still have those toys in an ottoman. I always wanted to get that giant Unicron toy... One of my best friends has a Decepticon tattoo, and his wife has an Autobot tattoo.
  17. 92 is a long life. A quick Google search and I can definitely appreciate his talents.
  18. The Registry is cool. I understand why people like utilizing it. I also understand why others would avoid it. It's nice to get recognized for collecting goals. I just think it's insane that anyone would consider its existence inclusive/impact to a comic sale. Maybe not the same thing to all, but it'd be like buying a sports card set, and requesting a refund because the seller didn't include a completed checklist...
  19. Welcome to the boards! If you observe for a little bit, you can quickly see what kind of posts to avoid submitting, and remember to have fun. Check in on Fridays to see all of the stupidity unleashed in Comics General... If you're new to collecting, ask n00b questions in the Newbie area. If you wanna learn how to grade, observe the "can you spare a grade area" for awhile (look at CGC books in each grade to see what their standards are, they also have their Grading Scale on their home page, and Overstreet is also a primary reference). It took me about a year to feel somewhat confident in grading to share my opinions, so have patience (it's a virtue).
  20. I kinda hate the human aspects to the monster movie films. I get that they want us to connect with a character, but we're there to see monsters fight, not usually anything else. I'm hoping I can get tickets for Sunday or something. Have to wait until payday on Friday, though.
