  1. You mean with Rhodey? Scott was on the team with Hulk (and Iron Man/Cap). All of the heroes return to the Quantum Tunnel at the same relative "time". This is a valid question, though. Not sure how Sanctuary II makes it thru the QT after Nebula uses the vial to return.
  2. I didn't really consider the possibility that she was decimated by Stark's snap. I agree with what you've said.
  3. Peter Quill is "searching" for Gamora after Thor boards the ship. Vision was killed by Thanos. And, yes, he was 1/5th Infinity Stone. Recreating Vision would consequently create another branch in time - which they need to avoid. Branch in time = potential alternate-reality Thanos. It would also = potential alternate-reality Infinity Stones which only exist "for temptation".
  4. The "extra vial" Thanos has was retrieved from 2023's Nebula, who was returned to 2023-Earth on Sanctuary II, with Thanos and all of the other 2014-year characters. Not every Infinity Stone reacts the same to touch as the Power Stone. See: Jane Foster in The Dark World.
  5. That'll probably be answered in AsGuardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. He died in Infinity War.
  6. Agree to disagree, then. On the topic of VFX: They gave Professor Hulk the Thanos treatment in Endgame. And by that, I mean that Hulk's CG looked literally perfect. Thanos, in contrast to Infinity War, was not on the same level. It makes sense though, considering that IW was Thanos' movie, and this one was for the heroes.
  7. Alright, so, Top-5 moments of Endgame for everyone..? In no particular order, for me: Thor summoning the lightning, transforming, and dual-wielding Mjolnir and Stormbreaker. Cap dual-wielding, and using, both his shield and Mjolnir. Return of The Decimated, with Cap saying, "Avengers Assemble". Iron Man and Rescue fighting side-by-side. "I am Iron Man" and the final snap. I know, it's all in the last 45 minutes-or-so, but the greatness of the first 2 Acts just sets up such better moments in the 3rd.
  8. He's just "peak human condition", though. For an 80-year old (or older), he looked peak condition to me. I'll be lucky to be that in-shape or healthy-looking when I'm 50.
  9. As much as I love the source material - Marvel Studios ain't Marvel Comics. I expect that the damage from the Infinity Stones will stick.
  10. That would make him 105 years old at the end, though. He looked more like 80 (which he would be if he stayed in 1970). You could be right. It's neither here, nor there, though. 1945, 1970, there's a branch in time no matter where he went and stayed.
  11. I am 100% happy with the treatment of Captain Marvel in Endgame. She finally lost a couple battles! Not sure if I'm a fan of the rally short hair, though. I didn't like it on Van Dyne, either.
  12. I don't think Professor Hulk is doing any more Avenging. One of his arms is basically useless.
  13. I would argue that if you think there are "many plot holes", then you need to see the movie again. There would appear to be at least a couple of branches in time, created by specific "time-altering" actions, but there aren't really any seemingly true "plot holes". The obviously new branches in time: Loki possessing the Tesseract. 2014 Thanos and Co. from 2014. Cap remaining in 1970. Do all of these instances exist in only one branch in time? Idk.
  14. Murder is more sacrificial than suicide? "The center of Celestial life" makes me think that they decide what is or is not a "sacrifice". Red Skull could simply not understand the correct English words to convey. He is German, after all.
  15. Feige told us a long time ago that he likes The Avengers because they "rotate rosters". Iron Man and Cap are not The Avengers. Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, Black Panther, etc are tons of "star power" for future Avengers films. And, Thor isn't gone. He has the friggin' Bifrost in Stormbreaker. I guess your quote makes more sense than trying to show them the light...
  16. The universe/Vormir/Celestials accepted the "sacrifice". Get over it!
  17. I must advise: Do not bring your pre-middle school children to opening weekend for a PG-13 movie that is 3 hours long. Thursday night, someone brings their 6-year old kid that is talking during some of the silent and somber moments. Saturday night, a family with 2 kids goes to the bathroom a literally combined 12 times. When the 2 parents go to the bathroom at the same time, 1 kid bothers the grandpa, "I need to go check on them", multiple times. This is p&*s-poor etiquette. And this is in what I would call one of the more "upper-class" theaters. Normally, the people that attend openers are the perfect moviegoers. I guess it isn't safe there anymore. At this point I'm starting to support the "streaming" opener where you watch it in the comfort of your own home. I don't want theaters to go away, but people are ruining it for everyone.
  18. It took me until the 3rd watch to feel like I truly have an understanding of most, if not all, of the movie. I was also more excited to see it the 3rd time than bother previous days. There are over 100 callbacks and homages in this movie, to the previous 20 films. A ton of them in the 3rd Act. It's crazy.
  19. "You must lose that which you love." As long as something truly loved is yeeted off the cliff - that's all that matters.
