I hate the crop on the images on that seller's books - got the goods, though.
Those better Midwoods from that era are tough in any grade. That is one of my dirty dozen Midwoods ... GOD BLESS ...

Steele Savage is such a unique artist, as well as name. A little like a Hannes Bok for the 70's generations
I doubt that Mr. Savage slept through the Bok era. GOD BLESS ...

This one comes highly recommended by my pal, H.P. and I'm trying to find a nice edition with larger print that I can read. Love the Steele Savage cover, which is a wraparound by the way. GOD BLESS ...

Torture Garden by Octave Mirbeau Berkley No. 111 1955 $15
Bargain copy of the first paperback edition with the classic Dali-esque surreal cover art of the Eve's and the apple
Fine minus/Fine. Would be VF ish but has an impact to the middle of the book with a large NCB crease, stress crack to spine and small erasure to cover. Still has a nice appearance.

I have a soft spot for the westerns ... they often have powerful covers by the likes of Norm Saunders and many more. They're usually a little more reasonable than the most popular genres like Hard boiled, Horror, and Sci-Fi. Some of the most mesmerizing color schemes are featured on their wraps. GOD BLESS ...

A 9.4 sold for $450 recently, and GPA doesn’t show any sales data for the 2 9.8s. Classic Wrightson cover and tough to find in HG, book has been pretty hot the last few years…not real surprised.
That book has a rep of tough in grade and coveted for the cover. I've never had a copy sit unsold in any grade. GOD BLESS ...

Things have been tight lately, so if I buy something, I have to REALLY want it. For some reason, I've liked this book, and Marvel kept the storyline relevant up into the Modern Age. Thanks @drbanner who NEVER disappoints. GOD BLESS ...

Heh heh, how many times did you look at that one, Jimbo?
Yesterday or today? I can only afford the 2 that I chose this month, but the short list was a bit longer. Judy is a huge CS Lewis fan, so she'll be OK with beans and rice for a couple weeks, healthy anyhow. GOD BLESS ...

Thanks Andy. I got through and was able to see the graders notes but there is no scan. Maybe they haven’t posted it yet? Or maybe I have to pay extra for it? I did check the census page and my copy is not listed yet. I’m a GA collector. One thing I have learned is patience…
There was a time when the associated scanned image, front and back, was an additional $5. Not sure about current policy. GOD BLESS ...

Took a minute and cleaned up the thread, updated the Recap. Good to go. There's some high grade beauties and a couple of true classics still left there for perusal
I'll be listing some more tomorrow.
This a really strong grouping, Lowell. GOD BLESS ...
