Ebay charges a 1.65% international fee when you sell something through the global shipping program. Ofcourse I just found out after the fact since they do their best to bury the hell out of this information....beautiful 👌

Jesus some of these #s being thrown around....24, 25 million for an uncertified book??? Any uncertified book? Would this be American $ or Zimbabwe bank notes?
Without knowing for sure what the most expensive uncertified book ever sold for none of these suggested numbers are reliable.

Toy stores being light the week of Christmas every year and increased internet sales due to pandemic will = empty shelves
It cant be cargo ship problems if the shelves were full a month ago when that problem was worse than it is now.

In the parlance of those olden days it was always "The" Batman and never just Batman

I purchased a 9.0 way back when you had to call for grader notes. It had rusty staples, and I was concerned about if that occured pre or post grading. I was told they would never make note of that defect in such a "low grade" book.
Yeah that answer was definitely bizarre. If the rust is severe enough to possibly spread over time, the grade wouldn't matter. Though if the rust is that bad I would doubt it grades 9.0
So back in the early days they would give out notes over the phone without charge? I'm guessing this was ~early 2000s?
Anyhow, this move is very reasonable and long overdue. If you had the 25$ membership there was not much in it other than submission privileges and I think a small grading discount.

While we're on the subject of grading....I don't know if this is already the case but If there's one defect that should always be recorded in notes it would have to be rusted staples. I don't know of any other defects that could potentially cause further harm in the slab?

Thats fine, buts thats your by the book not eBay's stance. I have been on eBay since the wild Wild West days never lost a $1.00 so far or been scammed. If you call eBay they will tell you that is their policy, but of course you do what works best for you.
For me however on a $150 item which is not a lot of money change the address and move on your business life.
This could very well be, but I guess the OP will have to decide if 150$ is a low enough amount to rely on Ebay if suspicion rears its ugly head. Its definitely a judgement call. I suppose the majority of people might want to stay on the safe side.

Not that ebay has a lot of seller protection but do you lose whatever they offer if you don't ship to the official address?
Yes if you ship somewhere other than the address on file you'd be in a terrible position, as a seller in a dispute. The person suggesting the OP cancel the transaction then request buyer buy again under the right address is right. If it were me I'd contact CS just to alert them of the situation.

Well you did find some beauts!
You probably took your time finding those well centered copies, so I'm calling it "guilt of a premeditated t-rex!"
Yeah they were not impulse buys that's for sure. I mean I can take solace in that little sliver of control right? 😂 🤟
I'm optimistic I can be more successful in this attempt next year based on limited interests and just having already bought so much carp the last number of years. There's only so much left! I can only hope 🙏

People like #12 because IIRC it's the first Silver Age appearance of Ka-Zar.
I might include 13 in there as well. Ka-Zar's origin and any book in which Kirby joins Romita is like having Jordan and Bill Russell on same team! Is there any DD with a better cover than 13? Like ever?...16 is noteworthy because it's the first Romita spidey art and I think 12 is considered Romita's kick off to his run CapAm notwithstanding.

Were you also wondering what everyone on the cover was looking at?
Yeah I figured he was pointing them to where he came from.....don't put any logic to it man, these are just the speculations of a 10 year old only familiar with the cover. FF was one of the last titles I really got to into reading when it became possible to read them online in the 90's when I was in high school. It wasn't too easy to find or afford these big issues at the LCS. The really early ones were impossible and I wasn't about to get into Ebay at that age lol!

Hope you get that done! You doing a run or those just two issues you like?
That Gorgon face on 46 is in such classic Kirby style! I love it!
