  1. Okay I'll add these here as well Incase anyone is interested. Both recently discounted. ASM252 9.8 yellow label Stan Lee, ASM67 7.0 Romita yellow label. I've only sold one yellow label and its more than doubled in value since. I'm going to regret not holding on to these but the sale must go on. 2. Yeah there's too many places where books can get hot. Limiting it to Ebay doesn't make much sense.
  3. Anybody know where #s 96 - 100 9.8s hammered on pedigree last night? Apparantly the results have gone down a black hole.
  4. This is why it can't ever be an apples to apples. You have popularity/demand on spidey's side with supply going against him. On the other hand you have supply strongly on the side of Superman Batman with a slight demand/popularity disadvantage (but only in relation to spidey's AF15). This would be easy if supply were even. Even easier if all three first appearances were relatively the same age. Imo the the closest to a true apples to apples comparison would be if a 9.8 AF15 were to auction relatively close to a Tec27 9.4 or AC1 9.2 or something. But the chances of that happening are zippo!
  5. There is a thread on page 4 but it's about it being hot more than to post copies. @Mr.Fantastic ⬇️
  6. I think that auctioned on CC but not sure. The final results for past HA auctions always include the BP juice.
  7. Wonder how many of the serious contenders are women? I'd guess none of the bidders are but who knows???
  8. Danny Devito as Penguin 1992 Pfeiffer always = instant wood my whole life! So did Newmar
  9. According to the census theres more restored AF15s in the highest grades than blue. Maybe alot of them had it removed I don't know? I think the purple 9.8 AF15 is trimmed to death. If there's actually numerous NM AFs out there ungraded then maybe a good chance it's due to restoration.
  10. That's so damn cool! I've never seen a stilt man figure before. Do the legs retract? Is there a DD figure from the same series?
  11. Love those stories man! 58 was out in 1967 so you go back a long way. Do you remember where you bought them?
  12. No it'll just take one of the 9.0s to get to auction for that to reclaim the record imo. The record holder is dependent on whichever top grade certified TEC AC or AF happen to go last. It'll be like a very slow merry go round.
  13. It is truly remarkable how far AF has come the past 20 years! Talk about amazing fantasy....how bout amazing journey! Hollywood has been good to the web slinger.
  14. I think there's 6 universal 9.4 AFs in the census with at least 2 graded after cgc started pressing. Guessing a few pressed resubed already? This copy auctioned in 2003 could be a resub with the cert# being unfound. I just think the chances of a 9.6 being upgraded are exponentially tougher than a 9.4 even if a 9.6 qualified. With prices being what they are the graders will subconsciously have that in their minds and grade accordingly. If they don't see enough defects to keep an AF from 9.8 they'll mind meld it there. Whatever the case, if this copy goes high enough its going to test the will of the anti certification crowd!
  15. Yeah 21 can become sort of like a tug of war between the stamp and the price box. I think 28 might be a little easier. The early FF covers had a lot to say. Very wordy Actually the early issues of maybe every title were the same way
  16. The 91 is old. I wanted to get these 2 together at some point.
  17. The 122 and 40 weren't that crazy but yeah on the high side. There were 9.8 122s recently selling for more.
