  1. Hmmnn.... I think it was always Murdock. Not surprisingly though, Kirby had his share of creating DD as well!
  2. As good as Molina plays Ock I keep thinking how perfect Jack Black would of been in that role! At least from a physical standpoint.
  3. They changed titles from JIM to Thor in issue 126 right? Did Kirby do Thor the rest of the way till he left for DC the first time?
  4. Like a high pitched ear splitting siren being blasted through the PA system and only the moderator has the key to the control room It will live in infamy.
  5. https://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAUCTIONS%2FSEARCH.ASP%3FFocusedOnly%3D1%26where%3Dauctions%26title%3DAmazing%2Bspider%2Dman%2B%23124%26ItemType%3DCB%26CGC%3DYES%26CBCS%3DYES%23Item_1543773&id=1543773&itemType=0 Here's my scan front and back. Really tough for me to part ways with this beauty! Here's your chance at a great looking copy! Thank you for looking!
  6. Same here but just Intuitively. I wouldn't be surprised if 51 passed it at least in higher grades depending on how this MCU appearance is carried out. Assuming it even does? On the other side it wouldn't be far fetched to believe Galactus has an appearance of his own at some point. If I had to choose one of those long term its 49 but not by much. I haven't heard much on this Kingpin rumor. Any word on who the actor could be? Is it the actor from the Netflix series? Edit: just checked FF49 in highest grades and yeah....I think it's more safe than I estimated lol! I still think 51 could outpace for a while but not surpass.
  7. Ok, this may sound dense, but does that mean you agree with me? Or not? I take it to mean he believes ASM51 growth rate will outpace FF49.
  8. No that's how the movie title is spelled. Yeah weird. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082822/
  9. I'm watching Welcome back Kotter right now. Does anyone happen remember a movie Gabe Kaplan was in where he gets pulled over by a cop and suddenly forgot how to drive after the cop was done? He proceeded to tell the cop and his flabbergasted reaction was just priceless 😂😂😂...It was the mos hilarious thing I'd seen in a movie like....ever!
  10. Sure I'd agree if not for the fact that a number of threads in the water cooler about hot potato issues didn't end well. The COVID thread had to be closed despite being heavily moderated. If the mods want to experiment with it then great. All I'm saying is I wouldn't be too optimistic of the outcome. ....guess we'll find out.
  11. Right but from what I take, the idea is not to have "no moderation" but less moderation with clear rules. The thing I see is the number of subjects that could easily wind their way into politics is very large! You would have to so limit the allowed topics in the thread as to defeat it's purpose. It would be tough to make it actually free flowing. I tend to agree with the skepticism with so many members possibly chiming in. The idea is definitely well intended!
  12. So basically.... Create a micro-forum within which those deserving can be hazed without moderator interference? I guess the idea is to have minimal moderation, less rigidity. There's probably already a number of these types of threads in the water cooler. Maybe a thread can be pinned in the water cooler with a clear stated purpose and firm guidelines at the beginning. Call it something like the "shoot the shizz thread" I don't know how many people will see it there but *maybe* worth a shot. Although I get a feeling it could turn into a dumpster fire.
  13. Most of the time the moderators get it right but there are examples of subjective overpolicing as would be expected. Moderation is easier said than done. I just hope the new surveillance doesn't turn into some kind of no fun zone where legit innocent humor gets hammered. Making it too boring is as much a risk as off topic trolling.
  14. I vaguely remember this Hulk cover I once saw with Hulk holding out his hands in front of him and a Stan sig hovering directly over the hands. Gosh it was so long ago I don't even remember what issue or whether it was a modern variant cover? I just recall it being a grey Hulk wearing a suit, hands in front as if he was holding something invisible. Anyway, it was the best example of a Stan sig I ever saw. If anyone knows what I'm referring to please post it!
  15. Thanks for the topic. Thought there would have been one by now. Always looking for ✍ placement! I'll share these for the time being
