  1. I collected them all off the stands, except for Vicki. Months later, when I realized they wouldn't be putting out any more I searched high and low for a copy. I have a short box full, but my original run is long gone. I liked a few, disliked more.
  2. Pretty disappointing. Best scenes from the trailer turned out to be teases, at best.
  3. So a relaunched Wolverine series, a year after the last one. More renovation from the House that once had ideas.
  4. Which X-Man do you think could carry a solo movie? Who would you start with?
  5. At this point, you might as well just resubmit. 50-50 it comes back blue.
  6. Captain Marvel #29 may be my favorite comic of all time.
  7. Thank glad we have the world's smartest man to clear things up for us unedgeumucated folks.
  8. Didn't Spire put out The Crusaders? That was pretty gloomy and doomy. Read the Cross and Switchblade many many years ago. Jack Chicks stuff was bugged.
  9. They have a very limited appeal. Might have something to do with their doom and gloom literature.
  10. I was told by a Torpedo employee that Torpedo is not setting up at the show. They certainly aren't pushing the show at their shop.
  11. The seller could h ave sold the book and made a small profit without stabbing it. In this case, he ended up losing money. Did he get value by stabbing it?
  12. If you take a book that sells for $3 raw, spend $35 getting it stabbed and sell it for $25, has stabbing added value to the book?
  13. Most hardcover books from the 19th Century are worth less than they were fifty years ago, while a very small percentage of them have skyrocketed. I expect comics will follow the same pattern. A 1970s Charlton and a 1990s Marvel will both be fairly worthless while a small group is highly desirable. When The Avengers have published some 3,000 issues and it is impossible to collect full runs, does anyone really think Volume 1, issue 153 is going to sell for much more than Volume 2, issue 37 because one is fifteen years older than the other?
  14. Nobody needs gold. Nobody needs Silver. You'd be surprised how little most people need. So would they.
  15. I wonder what Harlan Ellison would have to say about Cal?
  16. Why not reach out to him and make it right now that you are in a better position.
  17. Any store that sells back issues should have them..
  18. Most 3D comics come with them. I have a bunch of older ones( Harvey?) I bought here. I'd offer you a pair if I knew where they were.
  19. I had a post pulled and a warning issued within two minutes of posting last week.
  20. Offer it up for the hungry children in Africa.
