  1. Big weekend , FaTWS and Snyder’s JL - in regards to Falcon , I got a not so subtle “ CA : the winter soldier” vibe , which IS a good thing . It’s still my favorite standalone MCU film
  2. I enjoyed this quite a bit - it righted a lot of the wrongs and felt more coherent and fluid . It’s a comic book fans movie . How the gross majority of this was cut , I’ll never understand ( and what was that whole poor Russian family side story that was thrown into the reworked version ) . I loved how the “ Man of Steel” storyline was tied in ( and the open pod , as well as the dusted one of a long dead Kryptonian )My true qualm - is the CGI . We as viewers know how much better visually this could’ve looked . This is more of a generalization , but I’m also not a fan of how CGI’d creatures look on modern films . First we had “Gollum “ and ever since then we’ve had a revised version of that , “ Doomsday” , “ Snoke “ and now “ DeSaad/ Steppenwolf” ( Darkseid looked better IMO)
  3. I’m beginning to think these have been leading questions for a chance to show off your signed movie artifacts , either way - no harm no foul
  4. I hear what you’re saying - but my guess is they’d rather grade that FF1 and get it out the door before looking at somebody’s 20 copies of Star Wats High Republic , it stinks for the guy flipping though as these are time sensitive . I would add for what it’s worth , I think simply just logging items in would alleviate a lot of stress for those of us who send orders in , whether it takes you another 30 days to actually start grading is irrelevant , just let me know it’s there and not is some USPS black hole .
  5. Joanne Whaley was beautiful in this movie , no wonder Kilmer gave up the single life
  6. Basically anything with Nielsen I hope at this point we’ve already covered “Airplane , Monty Python and Blazing Saddles “
  7. I think you should ease back on selling Jeff ... you are overcome with remorse
  8. Janni Gogolak ? Best supporting name ever ? Despite that ? He dwells on these boards now ... @ygogolak
  9. I’ve had that happen before , when the comic ship looks like a hoarders nest but has plenty of new monthly issues on the walls , I enjoy hunting through boxes . What I DON’T enjoy is bringing my finds to the counter for them to say “ we still have to price them “... well - what DON’T you have to price in here ?
  10. “ don’t you know the Dewey decimal system ?”
  11. I concur , I also believe It’s okay to be offended by a movie , it’s good to get out of our comfort zones , that’s how we grow and why we dream , to release repression and pent up emotions - that’s why “ the arts “ while not mandatory , are necessary
  12. Is this to offset the Spider-Man book ? great pickup - sell keys to get keys ... “ this is the way “
  13. To be honest that list isn’t too horrific , there’s many of which are in the violent / horror genre which I contemplate even listing on here - but Serbian film is for sure on that list of “visceral films to change your mindset “- and no I haven’t seen and will not , I’ve seen enough ....
  14. An underrated movie and in the middle of the “ make any movie by author Micheal Crichton era “ but seriously Ernie Hudson , Tim Curry AND cameo by Bruce Campbell ?!!
  15. First time I saw him was in Hellraiser ( 5 ?) first memorable was Blood Creek , a decent horror movie with the dude from Jailbreak . He was jacked in “ Immortals “ and has maintained ever since , I enjoyed him in MI:Fallout as well , I haven’t seen Witcher yet , but am unfamiliar with source material ...
  16. Man of steel 2? When will you come to fruition ? Luckily for you Cavill has kept himself fit
  17. Nothing beats Sean Connery body CGI , perhaps second would be Christopher Lee CGI ( Star Wars )
