Back to the “ homage “ part that was allegedly intended , David Cronenberg was raised Jewish but has since become Athiest . He may be the top of the food chain on body horror movies .

    To be honest of all the shows Marvel had on the docket the Falcon and the Winter Soldier was what I had penciled in as priority , after the initial 2 episodes of WandaVison passed - I’ve enjoyed the latter 3 immensely .

    I think most likely case is an attempted homage which was botched , possible stereotyping but then were jumping to conclusions here . Hard to tell what’s what when people automatically craft an apology when things aren’t meant to be hurtful .

    Helicopters ... not so much , as we’ve seen but since we’re dwelling - train / subway conductors - surgeons -air traffic controllers - crane operators - bus drivers - boat /submarine captains it’s like watching “ the leftovers “ all over again

    What the MCU has done from a cinematic standpoint will never be done again . I concur that time travel can be a bit hokey at times ...but then again - we are all here under the premise of being comic book fans , where each new writer can and will retcon , re- write , glaze over and even forget events that have occurred in a timeline . Film and comic books . Not real , but hopefully enjoyable and entertaining nonetheless which in my opinion the MCU has in spades.

    I wasn’t knocking it - more of a knock on her , i was referencing it as another example of marvels continuity through the films... they have such an exemplary use of attention to detail through all the movies with references and connections , it’s one of my favorite things ie:) “ point break “ in Ragnarok ,” I can do this all day “ Endgame et al side note: I wonder if anyone has compiled a list of those

    I wasn’t a fan of the first two episodes, but enjoyed #3 and 4. Even though the last was basically a recap . I always found “ Darcy’s “ attempt at comic relief to be a failed attempt , ( apparently not a poly sci major but astrophysicist ) but enjoyed Jimmy Woo as a character ( especially since he figured out how to do his card trick ) From the mid season trailer the following seem to appear: we have the sitcom running through another couple decades - 80s ( and a ET style Halloween ?) 90, and 2000’s . a battle takes place in wandas town a vehicle penetrates the outer barrier of the town and makes its way in vision leaves the town
