But you wouldn't refuse to be coddled if it were offered, now would you? Actually I would. I wouldn't want the guy who bought it outright, to think anything negative about me getting some sort of deal because I'm in some sort of "inner buddies group" or something. The seller should tell me "Sorry that item just sold while we were talking". Then I could respond with "OK, no problem... what else ya got?" (Give or take a graemlin or two.)

I cannot believe I waded through all of the last couple of pages of this thread. Was the concept broken? Was it unclear? If I'm asking a question on a book that someone else buys...good. Good for the buyer and extra good for the seller. The seller doesn't need to coddle me because I'm a asking about the quality of page 3 when someone else steps in to buy it. This is my opinion and not intended to bother those that want this changed.

Berating people for complaining about the size of text is a bit much. Especially since there's no "Hey guys, what do you think of this?". For all anybody knew we were going to be stuck with that so I feel the reaction was a part of it and should have been anticipated. I fully support the complaining as it got results and the new size is much better since it seems to be the way it's going to be. I still don't like it being there period. (oooohhh look a complaint....get over it). But basically I don't care. I preferred the old way of letting kindly and well meaning forum members assist newbie sellers in the ways of enlightenment. I really can't wait for SkyPinkBlu's selling threads to pick back up as reading these forum police threads are a snooze.

Isn`t he the one who went on same ridiculous rant about whatever price he wanted to pay is the price someone should be willing to sell to him, because it was "his money", or some similar nonsense? The sheer stupidity of that line of reasoning has continued to stick in my mind for some reason. Thank you for reminding me. I was getting this guy mixed up with a different Board Member and so this latest revelation was a bit of a shock, but now I've realized that it's old Mister "My Money".
