    You had internet in the 80's? You really were a trend setter! BTW i agree, would love our own OT forum. It was dialup. Started doing bulletin board systems (not unlike message boards are today but they had download areas too) in 1980. 300baud to start. Then jumped to 2400! Blazing fast for those days. Of course, this was all before Windows so everything was faster. Now the downloads were slower but the files were a heck of a lot smaller. My dad was into that stuff back then...I thought who would even care years from then

    How about neither? You can turn it off in your preferences. Good. I sort of like it as you first get in to the site, but then when I want to start looking at large scans I want to devote as much space to the actual threads themselves. In a perfect world it would be nice to see it once at the beginning and then set it to disappear upon entering individual threads. But in the meantime I can turn it off after a while and then back on.
