Hi, I've been looking around at the CGC Census and have been wondering if they keep track of there NG Coverless (0.3) books, or graded pages as well. Since the Census only goes as low as 0.5, I don't know. Is there any way to see the number of books receiving an NG or PG?

OH YES! Hawkman Vol. 1 is the best, Issue 7 is one of Murphy Anderson's greatest covers ever. They're all gorgeous. I'm lucky enough to have the whole volume. Nice covers.

Yep while not a Superman or Batman, Hawkman is still definitely a major DC character (also the coolest). Right now this book is pretty cheap compared to Showcase 4 and 22, and even cheaper to AF 15, X-men 1, TS 39, and a lot of those Marvel first appearances. And the DC keys are much more RARE. AF 15 is being incredibly overpriced, with a 9.6 selling for 1.1 mil, there are about 3,000 AF 15's graded just by CGC. Marvel Keys are set up perfectly for a price drop, just wait for the movie hype to be over. DC keys however, have no where to go but up, so I try to snag 'em while I can. (gotta get me a copy of the other 34)

Ah good ol' Murph, Hawkman Vol. 1 saw some of his greatest art and covers 20 being my favorite. But still nothing can beat classic Kubert.

Brave and the Bold #34, first SA Hawkman & Hawkgirl, an awesome (and still affordable) SA DC key. Lets see them high grade copies. Mine are down below. (NOT high grade mind you, but I figured we'd better start somewhere, and hey, I aint rich) One is 2.5 the other a 1.8. I actually had the 1.8 graded by PGX just for protection purposes. (Hey, again, I aint rich. 20 bucks for shock and UV protection, I'll take it) But anyway lets see some copies y'all rich folks got! (and poor folks, we all love comics here)

Here's my entry. I was lucky enough to pick this up for $40 on ebay a year or two back. I'm not one for high grades, (cuz I aint rich) but I pick up what I can. Low Grade 1.5 I needed it for my Hawkman run.

1.5-3.5 Don't get me wrong, I love high grade comics, but I also like my comics with a bit of personality, and CHEAP.

You just cant beat classic silver age Joe Kubert Hawkman. Mine are some of the favorites of my collection. Low grade, but man those covers!

B&B 34 - 2.5, 1.8, raw

B&B 35 - 2.0 raw 

Hawkman 1 - 3.5 raw

Hawkman  4 - 1.8 raw

Some of my favorite comics ever. Im not one to buy high grade comics, so I normally settle for low. These are definitely the crown jewels of my collection. B&B 34's gotta be my favorite comic of all time, with Hawkman, of course, being my favorite character. 

The Brave and the Bold #34. Its my second copy, a low grade maybe 1.8, but you can never go wrong with the first appearance of Hawkman. 

Okay, so I know there's probably a better place for this in the forum somewhere, but I could not find it, so what better place I thought then in the newbie section. I found this odd copy of Marvel Tales 99 the other day. I know its a Mark Jewelers Variant as it has 40 pages with the mark jewelers insert. However the front cover has a very interesting printing defect, that I've yet to see in a comic book. It looks as though only the color blue was printed during this comics manufacturing. At first I thought it might be some kind of extreme fading, but after further examination, there is no hint of red, yellow, or green any where on the cover. The back cover's colors are fine along with the inside. I have attached pics of the comic. Does anyone know what this is? Is it rare? Have you ever seen any other comics with a similar defect?
