I had a paypal surplus (thanks in part to you!) so it was almost like a cash-trade deal for me. I am sorely tempted to crack the case but I'm worried about damaging the book. I plan to get the grader's notes to see if the resto is reversible. Anyone know what reversing Slight Professional resto costs?

glad you like em, hope I lowballed the wolvie #1 grade enough. If someone other than me sent it in, it'd pull a 9.6. Me, I'd get a 9.0 because that's how my luck is. There's just the tiniest of tiny shelf bumps and a couple of micro (less than 1mm) non-color-breaking spine creases, the kind that happens to a comic if you breathe on it. I'm afraid to take it out and read it. Good stuff.

The average grade for all of these is VG or so. The worst is my FF#1 in Fair and the best is my WF#16 in 8.5. Terrific 4 and OOTW are at CGC right now. Mystery Men #9 is with Matt Nelson (which will make a grand total of two of the books that are restored). Sadly, there was nothing he could do to save my Fantastic Comics #5 (cover detached) because the paper is too brittle at the spine, so I need to slab it and hope for a qualified 6.5 or so.

Came back from WonderCon to this happy comic waiting for me, but I've had the plague since then! Too sick to scan even, until now... As soon as my Mystery Men #9 comes back from Mr. Nelson with its cover repaired, I'll have reached the 50% mark on my Gerber Photo Journal cover cover collection.

Overdue Kudos to Whet for some awesome graphic novels I've been meaning to buy since they came out!
