I've got one for you guys. I had a "mechanical error" that was downgraded once it was back to cgc because it had "color lift on the signatures" (the mechanical error was that they didn't have all the sigs on the signed by line so why was the inner well opened in the first place? I have no idea). CGC did make it right by compensating for the sigs and book but I'm sure going to be more careful with my "sentimental" books unfortunately like this one. I have lots of questions on how this happened but I'm just chalking it up to everything already mentioned in this thread.

I think C-Link stole the books straight out of the storage facility themselves. They followed the HA auction, saw that you were the buyer and followed you to your storage unit. They felt the original owner in the HA auction didn't give them a solid chance and they want to show the cgc boards and the world that they are truly the better comic auction house. No possible alternate explanation exists!

They still hate me. Oh and I have another "Mechanical Error" that was delivered on 1/25 not even in the system yet. but I have a new contender for my longest wait. received 9/29 Modern

Two 30c remarks from the Joe Staton mega-signing. These were exactly what I wanted. I got all 30c Hulk variants remarked by him.

Now I really want to know what’s going on. Is CGC located in a Post Office?

I saw that other one on eBay also and was hoping mine would look similar I wanted the claws, but it still looks pretty good. I figure whenever cons are actually back I’ll try to get a few others to add their Wolverine remarks around his.

As long as it goes direct from the artist to cgc, with the appropriate paperwork, this is allowed.

I understand that it's regraded, but that's not what I asked. How do you know the current graders do not know what the previous grade was?

I don't think of any of this as "complaining" but a place for those of us that daily click the view status button with the high hopes of a change and upon seeing no change start to wonder "are mine stuck" even though we all know they're not, it still crosses our mind. Seeing someone else's status change gives us hope. I'll click the view status button an extra time today.

I've read other posts that say the same thing (about the graders "not knowing" the previous grade) but I have never seen it in writing is this stated somewhere?

FYI - CGC (or the artists, weird that multiple would do this) is pulling remarks out of the window bags. Remarks from both the JRJR/Hanna and Dan Jurgens signings were definitely removed from my window bags. I'm not upset about it, just wanted to make sure that everyone understands the expectations. window bag- final -

I'm always the trailing edge. My Roy Thomas' don't even have a new "received" date yet. My Joe Staton's haven't even moved and looking at the calendar today marks the 40th business day (excluding holidays) 8 weeks tat seems like a dream at this point.

Huh. I looked that up and it doesn’t look like any ss Bernthal has done.

You should contact CGC, but I haven't seen anything on their facebook with him so I would think that the signing hasn't happened yet (Roy Thomas signing due date was 20ish days later and those still haven't been signed either)
