  1. I'd bet on the sketched being higher (even if only by $1).
  2. Did anyone else put in an order at LAST years Mainframe Bat Black Friday event? I did and 1 year later I am still not sure that CSA has had my comic triple signed by Finch/King/Mann yet (not even sent to CGC). I’ve been in contact with them many times and they said they were struggling to get signatures due to Finch being in Canada.
  3. I think they’re all sitting at GEI. It seems like the “new” process rotates personnel to backlogged areas. This will help in the short term but destroys actual time gains. Instead of having individuals that really know what they’re doing in regards to a single task they expect a few people to be really good at everything.
  4. So CGC is running about 3 weeks behind on the in-house signings (14 business days in your case). That seems within reason to me.
  5. Wonder no longer. What I posted in the other thread on this topic: Since cgc didn’t give us a date the signing was finished I’m using Sept 24th as the start date for tat. no press date (30 business days): November 8th w/ press: (40 business days): November 23rd
  6. Where do you get that "first in, first out" applies to in-house signing (I've read others say the same thing, but I have never seen this in writing from CGC)? I ask this because "first in, first out" makes sense for grading order but since all books technically only go for grading post signing (or pressing) they are all in the same bucket as far as timing. As far as you're submissions that have "lost their way" you're Roy Thomas still has 6 days before it is even at the ESTIMATED return time. Roy signing was the weekend of Sept 12th using the 13th as the first day your book with CCS pressing is ESTIMATED to be shipped back 11/10/21 (you've got to at least give them the full timeline they estimated before saying they missed their estimations). Walt Simonson signing was 08/27/21 and the estimated return date is 10/28/21.
  7. Using Friday as the end of the signing date. books without pressing will ship sometime around 12/22/2021 books with pressing will ship sometime around 1/07/2022 cgc has been pretty good on their estimated timelines with regards to these signings (I’ve done about 10 and only 2 times were they off)
  8. There was 2 options; a remark and a sketch. I opted for the full sketch, but that's why I only sent in 1 item. I think you probably made the better choice as I always see the remarks vs sketches and notice there isn't much difference besides the cost.
  9. Mines an X-Men #1 (2010) blank variant (the one with the blood splatter) previously signed by Stan (is this the same Mr. Lee as yours?) cgc'ed 9.6
  10. What do you think the odds are of them posting Lee's sketches when he's doing them? I think its pretty high, hopefully get to see my own.
  11. I can tell you why I "lurk" without posting. Every thread turns into inside or private jokes. To post something you either have to be in before the rest of the group or risk "derailing" their conversation. This is what happens to forums when they've been around a long time and there is probably nothing you can do.
  12. I'm sorry, but according to my records you haven't submitted your Kingspawn signed by (insert signature series name here) within the dedicated time frame. Please send the copy and the certificate directly to me and I will see what I can do for you. Thanks for your interest in my program.
  13. What leads you to say that you "don't see that being the case" in regards to "proper" scheduling? Ask the Eastman signers how long it took. In my opinion CGC is as good or better than any of the other private event facilitators I've worked with in terms of delay past a cut-off date. FYI - I've got a book in for a Jim Lee sketch, so I'm just as anxious to have him there also.
  14. I think that most of these signings are not scheduled like everyone thinks they are. I'd bet a lot of them are "scheduled" after the mail in date, especially the hard to schedulers like Lee so they can book the correct amount of time.
  15. Does anyone else wonder how they got that photo? doesn't look like 9.9 is a "rare" grade if you're the artist. EDIT: Just realized they are probably at Campbell place.
  16. While I agree with @seredynskib about CGC being professional about submissions, I've had a completely different "success" rate. I've submitted probably around 300 and I I've had about 10 mistakes (blue label supposed to be yellow, missing signer names, completely lost a submission that was eventually found 6 months later, didn't get a signature on an in-house submission...)
  17. Contact CGC, they will tell you what to do. This has happened more than anyone would like to think it has (actually this is far more minor than what most of us have seen). I'm curious as to what they will do with this one as even if you just assume they mis-typed the year 2016 was supposed to be 2019, the book still wasn't out.
  18. My remark w/ pressing just changed status to GEI so it looks like they are ahead of schedule (or mine is the first in line).
  19. Yes, there has been issues with downgrades. The risk exists.
  20. Since cgc didn’t give us a date the signing was finished I’m using Sept 24th as the start date for tat. no press date (30 business days): November 8th w/ press: (40 business days): November 23rd
