  1. The Wolfman signing was last week, they posted videos on TikTok.
  2. Yeah. As long as you’re a member, even free, go to the main CGC site and login. Once logged in click on “my cgc” at the top and then scroll down to comics and magazines and click “online form” then “start new order” find private signing and select the correct creator then select if you want pressing or not. This is the part that’s different for resubmission’s, click the resubmitting box and type your cert number in then follow the prompts. I’m doing this from my iPhone so there might be a few steps that are different on pc.
  3. This is getting ridiculous now 1x Express CCS Pressed and moved to SFG 6/9/22. I emailed them last week and they said they will reach out to the comics group. Now its moved to GEI.
  4. You're missing many details that are necessary to answer the question, but I will take a swing. If you mean you want to get a book signed at a convention that CGC is attending they may be willing to take that to an in-house private signing at the convention, but don't count on it. If you are referring to a book that you submit at a convention that is then graded and returned to you, with a yellow SS label, you would then mail the book without opening the case to CGC for them to crack open and have signed and graded and returned to you.
  5. I understand why they let JRJR do the no comic book sketches but I'm still disappointed when they do.
  6. That sucks. Also, I like that you use the Journal this way and I might steal your idea.
  7. My Jason Aaron inscription has moved to SFG. Edit: Now the signatures have moved to SFG.
  8. I agree with you that the Dixon/Nolan signing is odd. CGC has scrubbed all mention of it from their events page and as you noted they never put up a pinned post. It's odd that this event cannot be found if you search "past events". It doesn't matter that you sent your books in February, the deadline was April 1st. Even then it doesn't matter what the deadline is, since it depends on the signing date which we have no ETA when we send the books in. Also, typically submission #'s are not indexed until they are SFG (occasionally it will happen earlier but that seems to be for "special" circumstances). As of right now I have 10 submissions in for in-house signings and only SFG are indexed.
  9. I got a remark from Jurgens during his last in-house signing and he didn’t sign it. CGC paid for all shipping and had Jurgens sign it. CGC got it back to me in a few months with the same grade. They are still a company and only have employees answer the phone during business hours, call them in the morning and I’d wager they’ll take care of it. (big caveat -being without a book for a few months isn’t a big deal to me).
  10. I’ve had this similar things happen with books of mine about 6 times, and I’ve never had to pay anything outside of the original payment (cgc paid for everything). Also, they’ve gotten them back to me in about 2-3 weeks. Only real issue I had was one book that the signatures pulled up with reholdering and CGC made it right.
  11. That's awesome to hear, especially so since I ordered the same 3 signatures on the same book but on the blank variant. Mandy was very good about updates until about 4 months ago when she stopped responding all together.
  12. Well, Comic Sketch Art has started to ghost me on the status of this book. After a year of updates saying they were having problems with getting David Finch. Now after 1.5 years I get no response. I’m thinking about reaching out to each of the 3 creators directly since they are rep’ed by CSA, I really don’t think that’ll help but maybe they’ll inquire if they have outstanding books for signing. I’m kind of at a loss at this point.
  13. @Dork Buzz they are also sometimes responsive directly on here. Bradd and his group are awesome and I've used them for 100's of witnessed comics.
  14. Not possible. That's why this is on every event posted.
  15. What most people don’t understand with those TAT’s are that it’s post signing. All of the submissions I have had, with one exception which took 12ish weeks, have been close to the 6-8 week tat. I’ve submitted to about 10 of them.
  16. Please do not get your What If #10 signed by Jason Aaron (unless there is something I am missing, like him having a published letter in the book). If it's for any other reason than you having a special place in your heart for Jason Aaron and the role he took in making Jane Foster Thor you should not do it. I'd also suggest not having Portman sign it either, but that's more of a personal preference as I would use a book that she is the model for as the cover. I'm a SS collector, but I only want books signed by a person that has a direct relationship to the content.
  17. I agree with @sonicyouth1 to contact CGC asap. I know I have missed the signature card on a book or 2 out of some of my orders. I think this step is not as big a deal as others (unlike marking the box and including the submission slip). They must double check that every book has a signature card in the back or they would end up with a mess at the end of every signing. FYI, this is why orders have to be in so far ahead of the signing. Just imagine the state of what some of these orders come in like. I wonder how many boxes come in with nothing other than the comics. I do want to add that this is why every backerboard should have all of your information on it. I also place all my information on the Cover board so no matter where this book goes its easily identified as to what it is and why its there.
  18. That's a confusing response as books that are to be pressed are supposed to be pressed post signing. I'm interested to see if anyone's books come back pressed when they are returned raw.
  19. Email them if you wish, but here is the response you will get (I still have not received the options email either). Received Feb 21st: “Good morning! Thank you for your correspondence. We are methodically working through all invoices for George Perez. We will reach out to you with options when we get to your invoice. We ask for your patience until you receive the email from us with the options.” I don’t understand how it takes a signer a shorter time frame (2-3 days) to sign the actual books than it takes CGC to send a form email to submitters.
  20. The problem for me is that (assuming the answer is we cannot split an order in terms of return raw or submit for another signing) by the time these return they will be too late to submit what I want to Wolfman.
