  1. I emailed customer service about not getting an email regarding options for my books here is the response:
  2. Thanks @Ed Hanes. My bigger problem is that I have 13 books in for Perez and some would be good for Wolfman to sign (Teen Titans) and some have to be returned raw. I imagine they'll all have to return raw and go back if I decide to get Wolfman.
  3. Can you post the email? I never received one (guess I get to contact them myself).
  4. You didn’t read the whole thread, his response of “no I don’t think so” was to the valuations being given. He says he already has it authenticated, we just weren’t allowed to know that information or see it in the photo.
  5. It was officially cancelled on Monday via an email. Many posts have been made about it.
  6. They would just use the Blue label with the GP head sketch, just like any other custom label.
  7. Hopefully CGC does the right thing by all parties and offers to send back the books at no charge, or the books can be graded at standard charges + shipping but get the GP label (one and only time those labels will be used) and the proceeds of the label go to GP.
  8. You literally withheld extremely relevant information when asking for help. If these are verified (not the same as witnessed) signatures you can determine the top value you’d get at auction by looking at what those celebrities sign for. Do you have pictures of them with the ticket? Is that a pin through the ticket? Is it in a display that you’d sell with it? Here I’ll breakout the value for you: Ungraded Olympic ticket: $25 Arnold signature (last signings fee): $450 Dr J signature (last signing fee): $100 Lynn Swann signature (last signing fee): $220 total: $895 + 10% for PSA/DNA It’s a very tough piece to auction. Value is low for a premier auction house, odd pairing of random celebrities, ungraded ticket… eBay is your best bet. I’d be pretty shocked if you got more than $500.
  9. What do you mean by you have it graded? Do you mean that you have it authenticated? What population report exists for items like this?
  10. Sounds like you should not submit your book. In my opinion and experience the probability that your grade will go down is almost the same that your grade will go up, most likely your grade would stay the same but....
  11. As cool as this is you're probably not going to get much interest from a true auction house. I'd bet the maximum you would get at auction would be a few hundred dollars. If these were "authenticated" you would probably not add much value but would ensure you get the maximum. Keep in mind all three of the signers are still alive and you can go out and get all of their autographs today on any item you want (Schwarzenegger and Swann had recent signings, DR J signed books are readily/cheaply available). Keep it until one of the 3 die and then hope there's a big pop.
  12. One of two things, either you can get a half green/half gold label where the original sig doesn’t effect the grade, or a gold label with the original signature as a defect against the grade of the book.
  13. I know Perez has had other signings in FL over the last few weeks. I would bet that he starts this one pretty quickly but there are going to be a lot of books, I sent 13 myself. I would think this will be a multi-day event due to his health and eyesight, and might even be spread out over a month or two.
  14. Yeah, but what is happening is they are taking the books out of the bags for some of the signers. I've had at least 2 (De La Rosa/Bagley and Frank Miller) signings that they definitely signed in places that were impossible based on my custom made window bag. I would never use the CGC bag as I am very particular about where I want signatures.
  15. That’s not the part you should be nervous about. You should focus your anxiety towards them cracking the book out of the case. Just think about the number of cases they have to crack before every signing, I bet it gets pretty repetitive at times and easy to lose concentration.
  16. Agree completely, charge whatever you want for whatever you want as long as it’s concise and clear what’s being paid for.
  17. Is anyone taking up Jonboy on the $1,000 signature option? In my opinion this is ridiculous. $75 for any comic other than BRZKR, if its a BRZKR it's $1,000. Jonboy says its the only time he will sign a BRZKR.
  18. Sounds like @Rich_Henn is also facilitating. I've used both and neither have disappointed, but if you think your books would benefit from a press you might want to go with Rich.
  19. In my experience, 10-ish signings, everything has come back as should be expected in terms of grading (I primarily collect silver/bronze non-high grade/minor key books so I don't see shipping as a huge issue since the corners have typically already had a ding so I wouldn't see minor mishandling as a problem). When they had a couple issues with getting signatures it was taken care of post signing and very easy to communicate with.
  20. I've used and still have books with AoS. Very easy to communicate with. They had a mistake once on a Wolfman book (Wolfman signed the bag even though it was clearly windowed) and they went out of their way to fix it, to me that is good service.
  21. Is the Ebay user named Ifri in here? This is an amazing collection of Stan Lee autographed items (127 looks to be random items), to the point where I have concerns. There are SS labels in there but also PSA/DNA, JSA, Stan Lee COA.. https://www.ebay.com/usr/ifri?_trksid=p2047675.m3561.l2559
  22. Only 1 SS book exists so I would guess the answer is no.
