The Marvel Age issue had a prototype costume. Secret Wars 8 is the listed first. Yeah this is a preview book but I am interested in finding the first published appearance of the final design of the black costume and I think this is it. This issue of Amazing Heroes pre-dates the release of Secret Wars 8.
CGC disagrees with you re: listed first .. asm 252 or team up 141 according to CGC slabs

Rob said on Twitter that Deadpool #10 is actually Major X's first appearance.
Be sure to pick one up on the dollar box in a few years

Such a bad cover
Book deserves to be in the dollar bin

still lower printed than than 1st print and still a 1st appearance
?? How can it be a first appearance .. .. character First appears in a comic book in the first print .... a reprint (2nd print) implies, nay, tells you it's not the first appearance as it's come after the first.
Did I say first enough ?

Will wait for the 1:100 incentive 4th print variant
With reprint of letters page of 1st edition as the cover image

Yup .. lethal protector is nothing short of a forgettable , terribly written mini series with not bad but not great artwork .. good luck to those dropping thousands on rare misprints ..
-
Given you are new to this , don't buy the signature raw ... lots of fake Stan Lee sigs out there to go along with the 100(?) thousands of legit .

I'd guess $.. Think I read somewhere if you sell less than 10k books / month it's hard to pull a salary after costs

Has anyone had experience with halo? Being in Australia, I see their slabs from time to time in my LCS but I have no idea on perception in market in regards to trust in the grading? .. Seems their grading prices are quite high per book but I don't know much else about them.

TFAW and DCBS (and could be more online shops) sent the error books back to Diamond. For anyone that ordered, they received the corrected version (2nd print).
Yeah my LCS sent back error books for replacement

I use to be a big spawn fan but i have never seen that issue... is that a promotional comic or something?
Yes.. It was given 1 per retailer who stocked spawn, and not for resale.
Once I discovered had to have.. Great piece of art and get dazzled by the chromium chains and logo.. ( first and only use of chromium on a dozen book to date I believe)
The interior is collection of black and white spawn cover art

I think the book is a win in the long term. I'm talking about the regular cover. It was solicited as a Mattina Virgin Variant....and the market received a surprise McFarlane Virgin Variant, with a grand new character to boot. What the actual impact or longevity of this character is anyone's guess, but I for one think it's a winner long term.
I scrambled to get a copy of that mcfarlane cover as it didn't land in my pull box.. I used to get all covers but after the we love colourists edition of 8 or 9 covers I asked my LCS to ease up on giving me too many issues each month .. And then I missed the mcfarlane virgin and the misprint!! Sigh. Back to ordering all covers again.

Have you read any of the issues? The writer has Hulk doing all kinds of macabre things in this series. Eating the face off one his opponents, being completely dismembered yet still alive and able to reincorporate himself, he cracked Thor's skull and punched She-Hulk so hard she flew 2 miles away. Back to Bruce Banner being on the run and only being able to turn into the Hulk at night. Readers are eating this stuff up.
Exactly.. it's in my pull box because I'm in it for the story that keeps getting better and better.. Then in addition to that, the fight scenes are mint... have hulk grabbing an opponent by one eye socket in one panel, another eye socket in the next, and then ripping them into two pieces via said sockets. .. Totally awesome.. Not been a bad issue in the run yet.
The fact the values are going up is the cherry on top with this book..

What are the chances of Immortal Hulk making it to a solo movie someday? Or Netflix/Hulu/etc... I don't get this hype at all.
Huge red flags on this one for me.
The current run would make an awesome series
