  1. that's a very attractive raw copy that may go for a reasonable price.
  2. Billy that book rocks!! you do know that that is the Batman equivalent to Supes #14.
  3. a 9.0 GA Action, very nice Mike! the Action run is coming along nicely.
  4. Jeff, you know how I feel about this book !! awesome! congrats on the upgrade.
  5. all I see is deleted by photobucket It was a 9.8 Action #1 with white pages.
  6. Nah, just very aware of my budget, and to be honest, I'm not as interested in the non-Supes covers. so do you plan to go for the Supes covers under #29 someday? I'd love to. #7 is one of my favorite covers. Gotta get the wife back working again, and maybe sell a screenplay or two. just wondering since I feel that there are some wonderful early Shuster covers. my goal is to get (eventually) most of the Shuster covers, except #1 of course and then a complete run of #40-50, with the occasional war cover thrown in like #39,53,66. Alton, did you happen to pick up that #39 on eBay last night? Really nice structurally, but the pages were questionable. no, I wasn't the winner, but I did put a "mild" bid in during the last 30 min. of the auction, very half hearted, I didn't feel comfortable going higher without more info/scans etc. plus the pages as you guys have pointed out, were suspect. I was surprised it ended as high as it did really.

  10. Comiclink asking prices are always "dreaming"
  11. It's just an asking price. Shoot, I didn't realize that. I've never used Comic Link before. yeah that's usually how it works, sellers list at around double the price they will settle for, the first bid has to be 50% of the ask price. so in this case it would have to be $1950.
  12. I dig it! different and inventive. great books !
  13. so I take it you didn't overpay then.
  14. I'll say, hot for teacher for sure ! nice book.
  15. and 192 graded copies of showcase #4 and that book is still deader than disco. I dunno, I thought this was a healthy price for a 4.5 Wow. I don't think that SC #22 will hit that level in 4.5, but if it does then anyone with a copy now will be round here, if a book doesn't increase 100% in a month, it's considered "dead". but I agree with kimik, SC22 has been undervalued for a long time and is just now catching up. (plus movie hype).
