  1. Kudos to mikeyriffhard for some nice BA Actions and to Foolkiller for a super sweet Superman #195 ! thanks guys.
  2. I had no idea that Jumbo ranked so high, I would have thought Fight and Rangers trumped Jumbo. but that's why I asked the question, to learn.
  3. great books Collin !! so question for all the Fiction House guys, which titles are the most collected from this publisher ? Fight ? Wings ? where would the Jungle and Jumbos come in at ? thanks, Alton
  4. glad we could help you end that 5 year search for this book. (thumbs u
  5. sweet 10 center Andy ! love a grey tone cover.
  6. I was bidding on a #100 It was a 6.0 at best. I bid $401.01 only because this issue doesn't come up in a grade I'm looking for that often. I was quite suprised to get beat by $5 One thing I have notice is that these Actions have gone up about $100 each in the last 6 months. I guess they are in big demand these days. I was bidding on that book too, I tapped out at $250 only because I don't need to be buying right now, I too was surprised at the final bid, I'm glad I wasn't the one who beat you out of it though. (thumbs u
  7. very nice looking book Mike, what happened on eBay ?
  8. Tomorrow night (Sat.) around 7 pm EST. (give or take) I'll be listing some GGA books and Precode Horror books. here's a preview, thanks.
  9. yes, Gator bought it from Heritage, and then I bought it from Gator. The Supes #17 has become very difficult to get in mid-grade, I'm sure it's because collectors hang onto that one more than the rest. trust me, this copy will be loved for many years.
  10. hey Billy, I'll take Venus anyday !
  11. don't know if I have enough books to spell "N O" you should have seen me trying to space those things out to get it to look right, I almost stepped on a few of them.
  12. my group shot has grown a bit since my post on the first page of this thread. I know I don't get any points for diversity, but maybe I'll get a few for collection focus. and this one is for Billy Parker very difficult to make a "D" with these things.
  13. it can sometimes be a very nice store to visit, it's the same CB store where the famous 9.6 JLAs came from. and it seems that everytime I'm in there, someone has brought in some vintage books to sell to the owner. You really got that at your LCS?!?!? His LCS is insane. I picked up a Black Cat 50 and Weird Tales of the Future 2 there once. yes, these stories are all true, then there was the one time while in the store, I tripped over a whole box of NM Timely's and GA Actions ! then I woke up
  14. Jesus H. !! what was the grade on that beauty ??

  16. thanks guys, the stories in this thing are insane !! hangings, daughter takes an axe to her mother, woman gets run over by a truck, very bloody scenes. crazy stuff for 1954.
  17. wonderful Supes #1, very nice page quality as well on a book from 1939.
