  1. No that's Don Calfa. Kennedy guide lists a contributor with that name to one of your comics pictured!
  2. I saw it when posted. Interesting stuff, to be sure. Thanks for reaching out. Not really books that interest me, but Fogel lists Plasticville as a $200 book in mint condition, and doesn't mention Artchie at all. Kennedy guide lists both for around $50 at the time it was produced, so I guess one could work from those points of reference were they attempting to sell. Good luck! Guess I am curious if contributor Don Calfa is the same guy that was a mainstay character actor in films and TV.
  3. I've had it for many years. I believe it is the first "Artist's Edition" type book and pre-dates the one for Rocketeer!
  4. My hope is that Gilbert continues to produce more issues of Blubber, and that we someday get a leatherbound collected edition with gilt edges all around, a tasteful ribbon marker, tons of behind the scenes extras, and a limitation plate that includes not only a number and signature, but a drop of his blood! I'll happily shelve it next too my copy of his stellar Garden Of The Flesh and Birdland!
  5. I have a copy of the -script for the play, and I've had an eye peeled for a copy of the poster for awhile. I envy you if that one is yours! Kudos!
  6. We get them in from time to time and list them in our ABEbooks inventory. You can find our current offerings here: https://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?bi=0&cm_sp=SearchF-_-sf-_-Results&ds=30&kn=underground&sortby=17&sts=t&vci=2945227 If you have a want list, we actively seek out books, as well!
  7. Big Apple and the Wolverton comic with the unpronounceable title. Sorry that wasn't clear. Like this post, I was responding to the one directly above it.
  8. I can't figure out why Dragula is up there twice (not that I have an issue with it) but I can't get rid of the second one so we'll have to bare with it!
  9. Those are indeed all the FRONT covers he did, but he also did an interior front cover and the rear cover of the NL Encyclopedia of Humor!
  10. I file both of those with my UG collection. Pretty much anything that's of an alt-nature, up until the end of Arcade's run, depending, I tend to lump with that sorta thing.
  11. Finally scored a book I've been after for a few years! Now I need to find a new 'grail'!
  12. My 3 copies have the dubious distinction of having been signed by FJA at an appearance many years ago. Love those books and have held onto them since I was a tween!!!
  13. I have the V BOMC, and the first Watchmen hardcover was also a BOMC (have that one, too.) I believe it predates the Graphitti slipcased HC. BTW, my copy of V doesn't have the sticker covering up the BOMC info, This is the first time I've seen The Killing Joke in a book club edition. Strange that it's not a hardcover as well. I believe the book club for TPB editions was the Quality Paperback Book Club.
  14. Different ISBN's for different editions and possibly covers. You can see by the thin outline that the original pb cover on that copy was removed, mounted on a plastic type of flat substance and then reattached to the text block. It's not a different edition just a custom job, done by a library to prevent wear and tear on the book.
  15. Richard Corben and Jan Strnad have a Kickstarter going on right now for a new, combined edition of Mutant World and Son Of Mutant World. Hasn't been going on a whole day and it looks like about 3/4 of the signed/limited edition has been spoken for!
  16. These are my dupes (4/70-12/74 + some specials I had permabound) And I have an extra one of these for sale (weird texture in image was due to my old scanner). https://www.abebooks.com/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=5418802058&searchurl=bi%3D0%26ds%3D30%26sortby%3D17%26tn%3Dnational%2Blampoon%26vci%3D2945227&cm_sp=snippet-_-srp1-_-title9 And some more NL dupes, trips, etc, as well! https://www.abebooks.com/servlet/SearchResults?bi=0&cm_sp=SearchF-_-sf-_-Results&ds=30&sortby=17&sts=t&tn=national lampoon&vci=2945227
  17. A friend of mine was at SDCC and scored one of these for me!
