  1. Buyer: giaho_77 Bought a lot of 57 different books. As soon as I shipped them, they started a return, stating that they already have the same books in their collection. Shenanigans! Blocked!!!
  2. User: hurra79 User bought an item. Waiting until it was delivered and then returned the item because they "ordered by mistake". Don't let them do the same to you. Blocked!!!
  3. Yes, he always removes negative comments. He has been accused of shady business in another video with his mystery boxes where he gave away a Hulk 181. Turns out it was won by someone that lived "close by" to Bry's friend and the friend went to the winners home, but noone answered the door. Just super sketchy. Tons of negative comments on that video...all wiped out. As more time goes by, he just becomes more and more of a fraud.
  4. User: logiu57 Bought a fixed price item. After one week without payment, buyer stated they had car problems and can no longer afford a $25 item. Always amazes me how some people fall into financial despair at the exact same moment they hit the "Buy it now" button.
  5. That's fantastic! Congrats!!! I'm surprised CCS didn't clean off the dirt on the back cover...or was it something that can't be cleaned off...like ink?
  6. Yes, but OP said seller changed the price and then counter-offered on an existing offer. This is not possible. Yes, there are definitely some sellers that are spiteful as well. Of course I also wouldn't blame sellers for blocking people that constantly low-ball. It's just a waste of everyone's time. Better to move on from those kind of buyers.
  7. Congrats on the bump! Did you need to leave it in the holder when submitting to CCS so it could retain the Pedigree?
  8. I'm not seeing that with the Silver and Bronze Age keys that I bid on. I won about 10 books with bids that were the lowest price in over two years. The other 10 or so books I didn't win still sold for slightly under previous sale. Still deals to be had.
  9. konstantinobotsari_0 Typical purchase and then deciding not to pay. No response to multiple messages.
  10. OA prices are definitely strong, but hard to determine if they've eased up since they don't sell often. That being said, prices have absolutely dropped significantly on almost all keys in most grades...albeit still significantly higher than pre-covid.
  11. If anything, I hope he convinces them to start providing sales info to GPA!!!
  12. Yes, I have used it as well for many years. But it's not a good website.
  13. I don't think MCS would ever tell people to stop ordering so many books from them. I think they would want to understand where their system is failing so that they can make improvements so customers can safely order as many books as they want.
  14. Appreciate all the detail. Clearly a frustrating situation.
  15. MCS is not very intuitive for a first-time user. But, like most everything else, becomes easier the more you use it. Many have just become comfortable with it over the years and know how to use the features. But, it's far from a great website.
  16. Like any website, once you get used to it, it becomes easier. That being said, I completely agree MCS website is not good. Probably not the worst, but just way too much on the home page, and the search results just have an awful look to them. Too much text...and too many books pop up that aren't available. Why are they showing up in my search results if they're not available?????? Odd.
  17. I couldn't agree more. I feel terrible for the victim, but how does a 40+ year comic dealer avoid doing any kind of due diligence...especially now hearing some of the obvious flaws MCS saw with the slabs in hand???? Seems like this should have been easily avoided from someone so experienced. Glad to hear the scammer is getting exposed, but geez.
  18. That makes complete sense to me. Not sure why others don't don't do the same...or just price accordingly. The point of putting up wall books with a price tag that's 30%-60% over FMV is an odd strategy.
  19. Yep. That's exactly what's happening. But that turns into not brining in much revenue for hours upon hours of prep. I'm starting to see some new dealers at local cons because others are giving up their spots. Somethings gotta give. Either pricing needs to change or the market does.
  20. I'm not looking in the wrong place. I attend cons for other reasons previously mentioned. Simply just stating that wall books at cons are so over priced (in most cases) that there's no good starting point for negotiating. Best to buy big keys from Clink, CC, Heritage, eBay, and IG, if looking for something close to FMV. Isn't it sad that you are essentially saying that cons are not a good place to buy keys? It's true....but sad.
  21. I think your suggestion is good, but my experience the past year or so is that it's extremely rare to even find one wall book I want that's reasonably priced. And if I were to make a reasonable offer, it would probably offend the dealer because they are priced 30-40% higher than GPA. I've been going to local cons to network and catch up with other dealers but haven't bought a single book. Not sure how any dealers are making their money back.
