  1. If the Silver Age Batman thread can be dusted off for another outing then why not do the same for the Silver Age Superman thread?
  2. Beautiful books, Hepcat. Pleased to see you here again!
  3. A problem with these long threads that can run a long time is when wanting to post more books having to remember which books you (at some time) already posted!
  4. What a wonderful themed trio of books!
  5. Dynamic image. I remember when Adams covers suddenly appeared in the Superboy title. It was quite a contrast to the Swan style that we were used to. Both have truly wonderful appeal and we were lucky to have a few DC covers as Swan/Adams combinations.
  6. Really nice books that you have poster, Michael. I appreciate Neal Adams far more these days.
  7. Great to have a nice group of books like these all arrive together!
  8. Best wishes to you, Jim, for a speedy recovery. My thoughts are with you and your family.
  9. I still have my very first book, too. I wonder if this is common amongst collectors or limited to sentimental old fools like us?
  10. Me, too. Although some of this collection now take up top spots in the CGC census with disappointing copies others would have been welcome buys had this all happened in a more sensible time.
  11. What a great array of giants!
  12. They are indeed beautiful books with white pages. One of the first collections submitted to CGC back in 2000. Lee Hester presented them very well indeed for sale on eBay.
