  1. Here are three more. I have all but three of the missing books, but finding them is another matter. 740 Chilly Willy 1246 Mickey Mouse Album 1333 Short Ribs
  2. Very nice, 4GEMWORKS. You have a great collection. So that just leaves 11 left plus two possible discrepancies between lists: 65 Smitty 294 Little Beaver 340 King/Royal 469 Beetle Bailey 740 Chilly Willy 750 The Great Cat Family 938 Elmer Fudd 1245 Sherlock Holmes 1246 Mickey Mouse Album 1332 Bachelor Father 1333 Short RIbs plus maybe 1059 Sugarfoot 1090 Francis
  3. Beautiful. I bid on a VG copy last week, but didn't win it.
  4. The first series is complete in this thread so we're good on that. I count 14 left as well, though my list was slightly different from Montezuma's list so I've started going through to check any discrepancies. He has Tillie the Toiler #8 as being posted so I may have missed that one. I think that most of the discrepancies have actually been posted in the thread, but it is easy to miss them in 162 pages. Here are the others that he didn't have marked off which I did. I listed the date when the picture appears in the thread for the ones I've located so far. 35 Smokey Stover 43 Popeye 135 Posted 1/29/2022 344 Sgt Preston 463 Petunia 471 Goober 596 Turok 733 Buck Jones 748 Frosty 889 Clint and Mac 981 Ruff and Reddy 1030 Little Rascals 1033 Steve Canyon 1034 Nancy and Sluggo 1036 Big Circus 1039 Pluto 1040 Quick Draw McGraw 1046 Beep Beep 1054 Huckleberry Hound 1057 Mickey Mouse Album 1059 Sugarfoot 1061 Buffalo Bee 1064 Bugs Bunny 1066 77 Sunset Strip 1069 FBI Story 1070 Solomon and Sheba 1071 Real McCoys 1075 Tales of Wells Fargo 1077 The Deputy 1080 Fury 1083 Men into Space 1085 Time Machine 1087 Peter Gunn 1089 Restless Gun 1090 Francis 1091 Posted 1/4/2020 1096 Texan 1131 Elmer Fudd 1215 Tales of Wells Fargo 1286 Untouchables 1294 Ripcord 1309 87th Precinct 1330 Posted 12/2/2021
  5. Here are two that have already have pictures in the thread, but are new arrivals for me. This brings the total I need down to 78 for Series 2 and I have two more issues on the way. Four Color #441 and 1307
  6. Montezuma, I went through all 161 pages as well over the past few days, marking down the ones that I saw, though I may have missed a few where I couldn't read the number. I came up with 63 issues not shown which is similar to your list, though I didn't include the 'missing number' issues. I went through the ones I had close at hand and photographed 37 of the 63 which I'll post in subsequent posts. Here are the ones that are left which I didn't see: 8 Tillie the Toiler 13 Mr. District Attorney 52 Little Orphan Annie 65 Smitty 294 Little Beaver 340 King/Royal 398 Brownies 469 Beetle Bailey 509 Pluto 706 Bongo and Lumpjaw 740 Chilly Willy 743 Daisy Duck’s Diary 746 Dotty Dripple and Taffy 750 The Great Cat Family 938 Elmer Fudd 965 Grandma Duck’s Farm Friends 979 Oswald 1197 The Aquanauts 1201 Goofy 1206 Lolly and Pepper 1245 Sherlock Holmes 1246 Mickey Mouse Album 1271 Yogi Bear Birthday Party 1332 Bachelor Father 1333 Short RIbs 1337 Dr. Kildare
  7. Dr. Bobbs is hard to come by, though I've seen a couple of copies on eBay recently that don't sell. Swee'Pea and Sparkle Plenty are also difficult to find. I almost never see copies of Hubert at Camp Moonbeam which was posted earlier. I've got a copy of Sparkle Plenty, but don't have the other three yet. Sparkle Plenty was the last issue a friend of mine purchased to finish off his Four Color Series II run.
  8. I picked up a CGC 4.5 copy of Casper #20 this week. Now I only need #1,2,4,9 to complete the set.
  9. I received Four Color #761 in the mail today which completes my first hundred run. My longest unbroken run is now #695-858 for 164 issues
  10. One more off the list - Four Color #242 - thanks to a fellow board member.
  11. Here's my updated want list. I don't have any that I am looking to upgrade at this time.
  12. A few recent pickups. The Richie Rich #2 is an upgrade.
  13. My longest unbroken run is still 1017-1163 Four Color #60 arrived in the mail today. I also won a copy of Four Color #100 so that should be here soon.
  14. That's a sweet looking issue of Tillie. I still need that one, unfortunately. I won a copy #60 Tiny Folks Funnies over the weekend so the number should be down to 84 soon, though that is only for Series II. I'm also collecting the first series, but didn't really start collecting those until a few years ago. I need 19 issues from Series I. My earliest issues from each series are #9 Terry and the Pirates from Series I and #3 Alley Oop from Series II.
  15. This one just arrived today. 85 issues to go, though still no hundred runs completed. I need one issue for the 600s, 700s, 1000s, 1100s, and 1200s I need two issues for the 300s, 500s, 800s, and 900s I need three issues for the 400s and 1300s so it is just a matter of time.
  16. The sixth season is only going to be an adaptation of book 6, not books 6-9. The authors have left the door open to come back some day to adapt the last three books if they can find a home for the series. I agree that the books are better, but it is still a good tv show.
  17. I read the first three Red Rising books and enjoyed them. I haven't gotten around to continuing the series, though. I didn't really enjoy the comic series based on it, though. I read through the entire Expanse series last year and loved it. I've also been watching the tv show. Boom recently published an Expanse mini-series and have collected it in a trade. It was pretty good, though I'd suggest reading the books or watching the tv series first. I also recommend Ben Aaronovitch's Rivers of London series. The books are police procedurals with supernatural/magic aspects and are very good. Titan has been publishing new stories that fill in some of the gaps in time. I think they are just finishing up their 9th graphic novel. The books are better, but the graphic novels are pretty good. If you read the books, I recommend the audiobooks which are read by Kobna Holdbrook-Smith.
